Great Pub, clean & comfy room
Clean and comfortable, but somewhat dated. Check-in was quick & easy. Car parking was a hassle as there are more rooms than car-parks and we didn't arrive until later in the afternoon. Being a Friday night, the Pub was very busy, but we still managed to find a table for 2 in the decked beer-garden area, service and meals were very good.

Nice rooms avoid the food.
Rooms have clearly been refurbed, but it’s almost like they ran out of money half way through… original sinks stay, no usbs by the bed, etc. Comfy place the night though, although I would say avoid eating in the attached pub… this was my lamb roast dinner… nope not a child’s portion but the one they served me. Ironically saw a locals roast go out to him and the plate was full. Clearly not valuing guests… Couldn't be bothered to argue in a busy pub, so walked to the nearby BP service station and got something to fill me up!

Check-in via the pub is odd especially when it's busy. Fortunately we were there on a Sunday so closing time was 10pm. Had it been a saturday I can imagine the area would be noisy. Being in the room right next to the garden was fine for us. Room was good for one night.

Great location, beautifully clean room and loved all the renovated features. Bed was very comfortable and quality linens appreciated 🙏 All our needs inside the room were well met 👍 Outside felt a bit too cosy/close to neighbours as they spent a lot of time sitting outside smoking and drinking. We could hear all their conversation and their cigarette smoke drifted to our room, so we had to keep our door and window shut. Otherwise, excellent! 🙏☺️
