Overall I had a great trip, however I was unimpressed with the Jung Hotel, it was an okay stay. When I walked in the room looked nice but after closer examination the pillow cases were stained, the chair in my room was dingy, the sink water never got hot after running for 5 minutes, and housekeeping wouldn’t replenish towels on a regular basis. The last 2 days of my trip I was without a hand towel or washcloths.

Well maintained, clean place
Friendly front desk staff. Nice maids. Clean and well maintained. Worst valet service ever. 3 of them standing around when we arrived - we had to ask them to take our car. They acted like we were inconveniencing them. We asked for a luggage cart. Valet said "yea we have them" I asked where i can get one, he said " i can get you one" i said great. He sat down and picked up his phone. I asked him again where i can get one then he said i don't know. So, i made 4 trips to take my stuff to my room. Just very odd service - or lack of service. I would stay here again though because its nice and its a convenient location.

Great for the cost. Near everything.
The Jung Hotel and Residence is great for the price. We stayed in the executive king room which had a modern washer/dryer in the closet. We found this to be helpful and definitely used it. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes glassware pots. Fridge kept food cold. Good microwave. This was great when reheating our leftovers. There was an electric stove top but we didnt use it. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Front desk was nice. Valet guys were also nice. The lobby is clean and also spacious. I took away one star in all categories for the following reasons. When I needed to contact the front desk for extra towels, amenities or questions, no one answered. I had made several attempts and it kept ringing or would send me back to the previous menu. I had to go downstairs to the frontdesk for requests. After a long day, I really didnt want to have to run back down. Next, the beds were slightly uncomfortable (way too soft) and the pillows were flat and also too soft. Soft as in these pillows and beds have been around for along time. The sheets had black spots or stains and some holes. Overall the linens pillows and beds could use an overhaul. The walls are thin and you can hear everything that is happening in the hallway. Location-wise, it is in a great area close to everything. All in all I would probably come back again for a short stay.

A Lovely, Inviting Hotel!
This hotel was fabulous. While we’d read the positive reviews, it far exceeded our expectations. It was tasteful, well-appointed, lots of modern technology accomodations. A spacious lobby with tons of attractive seating options and lovely art too! Monique at the front desk was warm, inviting, and a great introduction to our NOLA stay and the Jung! We’ll be back! The artistic room keys picturing the Jung in it’s early days were a nice token as well.

Not so great.
Lets start with third party rate the Jung as a 8 to 9 point HOTEL BUT IS MORE, AN 5 TO 6 STAR. some of the staff not that friendly and communcation issue with housekeeping. More than half the TV channels, where out with no signal popping up on Tv screen. parking not explain clearly. staff at bar rude and very willing to help or exchage larger bill to small.

A lot of homeless people around the hotel. Felt unsafe to even go smoke a cigarette at night due to no security. Very outdated, the room was dirty, and the door would not lock. They refused to change our room even though our door would not lock! I could not sleep due to feeling like anyone could come in at any time.
