Giovanny at the Door is the go to man for everything.. My stay was excellent due to his help at every level. From a simple phone call to taxi ,& best tour options and even a hint of great places to eat. He was / is the best aspect of the hotel. The front desk sadly is not on the same page per communication.. I was told at check in one thing but when the situation arose,, what I was told did not take happen. It felt like there were two sets of rules depending on who was at the front desk. The day and night front desk staff do not follow same guidelines so please be aware as it can be embarrassing to all parties involved.. The room was cleaned daily and my housekeeper was amazing with making the room up nicely every day. Lastly Morning breakfast is well worth waking up for it has exceptional coffee and nice selection of food and very it’s very tasty. I can’t recall his name but there is an older gentleman who works there and every morning as I saw him and he saw me sit down “ he was amazing to bring my coffee and OJ almost even before I sat down. The above and beyond service from a few employees make this a hotel worth the stay. Giovanny in my opinion makes the hotel run smoothly as most people seemed to go through him for EVERYTHING… At least I did anyway. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating me like family and NOT just $ $ $ …

Excellent location

All the staff are very polite, respectful and excellent customer service. The hotel property is a classic staple in Medellin with elegant touches mixed in with modern accommodations. The double queen room is big with a sitting area. The beds are comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. The a/c was great no need to put it less than 71 degrees as it felt even cooler in the room. The breakfast buffet has a good variation of foods and drinks.The hotel is located within walking distance of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, pharmacies and even a Starbucks. Overall I give it a 9 out of 10

Wedding in Medellin

My dissatisfaction is due to certain things that typical hotels have were not provided in this hotel. Examples, no hairdryer or Iron available in the room. No ice bucket or ice machine. When needing these items you have to call the front desk and wait to have someone bring it up. There was were only two bath towels provided from the start. At times it felt like your every move was being watched. The staff for the most part was very pleasant and eager to assist. The hotel appeared clean.

Hotel only good if you intend to party all night

I’ve never stayed at a hotel with such thin walls before. We heard full conversations of the people in the room next door and when they flushed their toilet it sounded like a plane taking off. Noise from the hallway is quite bad ands the service was cold and inefficient. Will not stay there again.
