Great staff but hard to sleep

Good location and clean, comfortable beds. Service of checkin staff was great. They were helpful and friendly. However the carpet near our fridge was wet when we arrived and the air conditioner was loud and didn’t cool the room so none of us slept well.

streets were under construction when we stayed, so it was noisy during the day and parking was a problem. but spent $300 to stay in a motel like place was still out of my expectation although I was told it was expensive in Aspen. the room was on the 1st floor facing a street, with very strong disinfectant smell. The front desk was friendly, trying to find me another room but seemed it was all booked out.

Hotel digne d'Aspen !!

Excellent hotel situé sur Main St. donc en plein coeur d'Aspen avec au nord un quartier résidentiel super sympa à visiter à pied ou à vélo (l'hotel propose des vélos). La chambre Deluxe était super grande, super équipée avec frigo, micro-onde, cafetière + café Starbucks, TV écran plat, cheminée pour ceux qui vienne en hiver dans la station, super salle de bain avec baignoire + système bain à remous. Il y a aussi un parking gratuit tout autour de l'Hôtel. Le petit déj est franchement énorme avec oeufs brouillés, saucisses, bacon, oeuf dur également, jambon, salade de fruits frais, café et autre boissons chaudes, jus de fruits, yaourt, et divers patisseries ... Il y a aussi une piscine chauffée et un jacuzzi pour les amoureux :-) Franchement le top et à un prix raisonnable pour Aspen (tout dépend de la période de résa bien sûr). Super séjour !!

Très belle chambre avec petit patio privatif, et c'est la meilleur literie que j'ai eu pendant mes 3 semaines de vacançes. Le petit déjeuner est très complet. Personnel très aimable et serviable. Situé à 3 blocs du centre ville, on peut tout faire à pied.

Hotel Aspen à Aspen petit déjeuner et goûter copieux ,navette à la porte de l'hotel

Ceci était notre premier séjour à Aspen, cet hôtel est situé à deux blocs du centre ville et les navettes pour les pistes de ski sont devant la porteLe petit déjeuner ainsi que le goûter sont très agréables et copieux.Il règne une bonne ambiance dans cet hôtel.Les chambres sont spacieuses mais souvent sans vue sympa.

The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed.

Hotel Carmel was located in a beautiful setting in Aspen . Unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel but it was convenient to most shops and restaurants despite the sidewalk closure . Our room was super clean as was the bathroom although the bathroom was so small , you could barely get in it . The shower was great ! The hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast had many options and was enjoyable . For almost $400 a night this hotel seemed overpriced but we did realize we were in Aspen .

El hotel esta super bien ubicado y los cuartos están razonablemente bien de acuerdo a Precio - Calidad - Ubicacion. El tema fue que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y no había manera de cambiarnos de cuarto.Tuvimos que dormir con la puerta del cuarto abierta para mas o menos ventilarnos, hacia muchísimo calor por la época del año.

This is an old hotel that has not been remodeled. They have attempted to bring it up to current American traveler expectations with regards to expected basic amenities and offer a friendly breakfast. But, it has old carpeting, furniture, draperies and bathroom. Stay was fine for one night, but wouldn’t want to extend any longer.

This hotel was really over-priced for a hotel from the 1970’s. The carpet desperately needed to be replaced. There were broken floor tiles in the bathroom. The kitchenette sink was so small it was ridiculous. Save your money and stay elsewhere!
