Most beautiful beach!

This was a nice place to stay, but don’t come for comfort from the room. The coils from the mattress were ready to pop through. We were in room 935, and no elevators. It was over 80 steps to get to our room. So if you can choose a room on a lower level if steps are hard on you. The drinks were plentiful and not weak at all! They have daily activities if you’d like to attend, along with a nightly entertainment. There is no beach, or pool service. You’ll have to get up and get your own. They have plenty of different food varieties so you should be able to find something you like. What was best is the beach! This beach was by far one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited! Plenty of beach & pool chairs! No rushing to hurry and grab a chair before they’re all gone.

We will definitely return!

From beginning to end this resort was fantastic. If there is something you’re not liking, move on to something else. You have 2 resorts to please you. We actually liked the buffet as much as the restaurants. They work so hard setting up dinners like the White Party, which is like a wedding on the grass. Beach dinner and street party with a steal band. We are normally Beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon, but here we returned to the beach most day as it was so wonderful. We were here for 2 weeks and did not get board. My only wish would be a higher grade of alcohol. We went to the sister resort and were able to get Grand Mariner and Brandy which were not available at Pinapple. We will definitely return!

Room Condition – poor. Cramped space. Sheets stained, toilet not washed, window broken. TV signal didn’t work most of the time and when it did, the picture was so fuzzy it was annoying to watch. Seemed very cheap and slapped together. Light water pressure, and two temperatures- warm and scolding hot. Food- Topaz food was always good. The menus didn’t appease us at any of the restaurants that required a reservation, but Chef Pietro’s didn’t appear open even once during our stay. Never even saw where Orchid was. The coffee shop had good iced lattes. The cold brew is not cold brew. It tasted like left over hot pot coffee that they stuck in the fridge. Terrible. The ice cream was also so old and crystalized. I had one pastry from here and it was excellent. The staff here were always pleasant though. Staff- Most were miserable. A small few were very pleasant. Location- Beach is steps from resort which was the main reason we picked this place. We had no desire to go into town, but it was about a 30 minute taxi ride. Walk to Devil's Bridge is not for the weak. Go early before blaring sun. Cut through Veranda. Common Room Fixtures- Sinks didn’t work. Hand dryers didn’t work. Spa- Amazing. Marby did a fantastic Pineapple Medley massage. Was weird that there was no where to leave a tip. Would I come here again? Probably not. I’d try the Veranda since we walked through there on the way to Devil’s Bridge and it appeared way nicer.

Staff very friendly and always happy to help. Lovely location and very relaxing. Good sports facilities and opportunities for exercise. Some buildings look a bit tired and need of some care and attention. Overall the service was excellent although, on more than one or occasion staff members completely forgot about our drinks orders and on several occasions they ran out of ingredients for cocktails etc. But these were minor issues as there was always lots of other choices. Overall a very lovely stay and would recommend.

Beautiful property, easy to get around. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean. Food was very good overall. The specialty steakhouse was good, but the steak itself was not excellent. It was good. Service was excellent. The choice of alcoholic beverages was probably the least favorite part of the resort. They only offered one brand of wine and beer. Not great. You could purchase bottles of a decent wine at the specialty restaurants and for a cost.(not cheap) did not offer top shelf alcohol either. They offer the use of sunfish boats. However, they will not let you take them out on your own. You have to go with an employee. Any resorts we have gone to before you could always take them out on your own signing a waiver. The service, choice of food and the actual resort was terrific and reasonably priced.

This was our second visit to the property. First time was 17 years ago when it was the Grand Pineapple family resort. That was nice but our recent visit was even nicer. We had a newly renovated room and the whole complex appears to be getting an upgrade. The staff were wonderful as well. Very friendly and pleasant to talk with.

Pictures do not do this place any justice. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting. It is exactly what I think a Caribbean Resort should look like. Pastel colored buildings with white trim. Our second floor room had a 12 foot vaulted ceiling with exposed rafters and was over 400 square feet. Our balcony was about 12x16 feet. The landscaping is unbelievable. Palm trees and tropical vegetation everywhere. The beach was beautiful with plenty of chaise chairs for everyone. The daily buffet was maybe an 8/10. Nothing amazing but plenty of options and you could always find something good to eat. The a la carte restaurants were significantly better. My wife and I had several excellent meals there. I would highly recommend this resort. We will definitely be returning.

This resort is a gem. Very quaint, rustic, and beautiful! We stayed at the waterfront rooms, and it's very convenient as it is close to all the amenities with a great view to boot. Mostly all the staff are smiling and courteous, very pleasant and attentive. The guests are happier and have been friends with a bunch. Food from all specialty restaurants are topnotch! Topaz, the buffet, is decent, typical AI buffet. And ofcourse, the beach - best sand ever. Never used my water shoes as it wasn't really needed. Now I see why a lot of people keep on coming back ❤️

The resort is beautiful. But my partner ate something the second day and had nausea vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours. I didn’t have any issues but this did prevent us from doing any excursions we had planned. Then I noticed that the majority of the guest were 65 and up. It was incredibly boring. The devil’s bridge was pretty too. The staff were also super nice.

During a visit over Christmas and new year , me and my wife decided to go to this hotel . Stunning visuals , nice welcoming staff accompanied by daily evening entertainment. The rooms were not on our itinerary to be scrutinized in a place like this , rest and relaxation was on the cards and at first it ticked all the boxes until on day 5 of an 11 day holiday I contracted a bacterial bout of food poisoning. Bit more than deli belly , which left me pretty much in the shade and near a toilet until we were going to leave . Day of the flight my symptoms took a turn for the worse and was unable to fly , 5 days later we flew out and as I write this still have symptoms 16 days later . Working on what the hospital said when I arrived home it was cross contamination of meats that caused this . The hotel did offer to help after I physically paid for the extra nights, which involved a move away from our initial room up to mosquito central . At no point in any of this has the hotel offered up any form of acceptance or liability, I initially thought it might have been a rum punch but this was food Bourne , I only ate at the hotel . During the stay a few other people were sick or had deli belly . So in retrospect the place is beautiful , people are too , but it’s Russian roulette whether you’re going to be stuck to a toilet and the hotel will not accept any form of responsibility. I really wanted this to be 5 stars but sadly not

From check in to check out, the staff here are friendly and welcoming. The food, whether at their a la carte restaurants, magnificent buffet, or less formal coffee and bbq spots, was exceptional. Thanks to the efforts of their lead Events coordinator, Ann-Marie, there is never a lack of things to do or enjoy. The grounds and the facilities are exceptional. Some of the rooms have quirky electrical issues as well as could use some bathroom upgrading, but otherwise this resort is exceptional in every sense.

Bring your own water, they give you 2 20 oz bottles when you arrive and that’s it for the entire stay. You can get from the bar but you have to go get it. Bar bathroom has no paper towel and the air dryer was broken since we got there. Bed is like sleeping on a 2x4. Be careful with guys on the beach selling excursions, they want money up front which is not good. Overall it wasn’t too bad of an experience but we expected more. Probably spoiled from other properties.

Pineapple Beach Resort Review I had a great time at Pineapple Beach Resort! It was quiet and relaxing, though my mom would’ve preferred more music. Our room was spacious but had an awkward layout, which made it feel less appealing. The toilet seat was dated, and the room could use some renovations, but it was still comfortable overall. The first night at the buffet wasn’t great, but the food improved every day after that! The Christmas Eve dinner was a highlight with delicious local dishes like curry goat, oxtail, and jerk chicken. The Italian restaurant was my favorite, with the Caribbean one also being tasty. However, we didn’t enjoy the seafood restaurant at Verandah, the sister hotel. The food wasn’t great, and there were lots of roaming cats, which made us uncomfortable. The staff were kind, though a bit serious, which might be cultural. As someone from the Caribbean, I felt right at home. The beach was beautiful, though the water was a bit cold in December. I booked an amazing tour with G-man at the beach. My mom and I visited English Harbour, Shirley Heights, a Caribbean-side beach, and a local restaurant. It was one of our favorite parts of the trip! I wasn’t crazy about The Outhouse (a lunch spot), but others seemed to like it, so it’s a matter of preference. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this resort!
