There was a lot to like about this hotel especially movies at night (though each night there was a technical problem with the movie) and the convenient location. But the rooms were annoyingly narrow - I had to walk sideways to squeeze between the bed and the wall to reach the bathroom. I also found it annoying that there was no coffee make nor refrigerator in the room but rather one central service center one each floor. The worst thing was this could have been an excellent hotel with more focus of attention on the guests rather than economic savings for the hotel.

Lovely stay! The hotel is very quirky giving a real old school cinema vibe. Unfortunately this doesnt carry on into the room. The rooms are nice but very different feel compared to the rest of the hotel. However i thought it was a great hotel overall.

We stayed for 3 nights in Zurich. This hotel is in an amazing location just steps from the main train station (Zurich HB), old town, and was quite comfortable.

Great place but mind room size

Nice place and great location, friendly staff which let us check in a lot earlier which was great. HOWEVER: - We booked a cozy room, which looked spacious on the picture and it was tiny. There was a chair on the room pictures that I’d love to see them try to fit in there. I complained as I thought they gave us the best room they said that was it. Perhaps we got unlucky as there was a wall structure there with dead space. BTW, that corner could do with some paint. - TV does not let you connect to Netflix, you can only see dubbed German TV

Convenient and cosy hotel

It s just 3 mins walk from the train station. Supermarkets like coop and migro are around the corner. Shopping area is also just next door. Really convenient. We were allowed to check in early like around 0900. The friend staff also helped us to change for another room promptly as we did not like the attic room they assigned.

A lot going on…

The Good: The rooms are bright, clean, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. A shared pantry on each floor is a thoughtful touch, allowing guests to refill water or grab a tea bag whenever needed. The location is fantastic—right next to Zürich HB, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The Not-So-Good: The concept of a combined reception and bar sounds modern but doesn’t work well in practice. The check-in process is frustrating, and there’s often no one readily available to answer simple questions about the hotel. Service at the bar was disappointing—despite having more staff than guests, we waited 40 minutes for our welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast options are very limited, with almost no hot food available aside from boiled eggs, which feels underwhelming for the price. Overall, while the hotel has great potential, the service model and breakfast experience could use some rethinking to better meet guest expectations.
