Great property BUT nowhere near anything and taxi s were $25 each way to city. Very nice, clean hostel but felt more like hotel. Ufn staff wasnt there and had to wait 30 min to get into room even though we gave them the flight info. Our party of 3 and 1 other guest had arrived on the very few flights to NUUK but no one there to check us in. This was disappointing after long day to get there and was at 7p but was on a sat. Nuuk nice but on weekend doesnt seem to operate. Location was also a problem but close to airport. Had to use buses and up and down hills were an issue on knees. Property was clean and comfortable. We asked to get on tour boat from our property as Greenland tours parks on docks below property and save $ and time. On water so nice view and affordable but better price at property than hotel site. Office staff helpful except at checkin. Had 4 br 2 bath kitchen and living and dining area and use of laundry if needed. If was closer to city would have been a home run.

Excellent hostel in Nuuk

A fabulous hostel in Nuuk. Modern, spacious, very clean and with everything one would need. Its only 5 minutes in taxi from the airport, but 10-15 mins into city centre by car, so if you have a car its really easy. If not there is a bus stop about 5 mins walk (which I didn't do), or a taxi fare one way was DKK86. Phone owners on arrivaL (phone number is on the front door to building) and they will come over. Or, let them know arrival time and they can be there. Really lovely, helpful people. I highly recommend this property.

Nice hostel outside of city centre

It's a hostel with shared bathroom, kitchen facilities and a living area. We are lucky enough to have the whole apartment to ourselves for a family of 4. We occupied 2 double rooms, and there are another 2 rooms. It's clean and in good condition, and has a nice view if your apartment happens to face the sea. It's quite far from the city centre with taxi fare costing 160dkk each way. A bus is available every 20min, costing 20 dkk. No staff is on site. You have to call them when you arrive and then someone will turn up reasonably quickly to help you with the check in, or arrange for storage of luggages. They are kind enough to provide a phone at the waiting area for you to call them or call a taxi. There are also 2 supermarkets and a burger place within walking distance.

Bounded to be the very basic of what you need for a room. The rooms are in dormitory style where you have four rooms to a dorm with a huge living area, dining area and kitchen. Perfect for those who have big families who want to be all together. The view right now is fantastic. You can see the end of the runway and a beautiful picturesque view of the water and the distant houses in many colors. Nice quick walk up the hill. There is a nice shopping area. From there you can get the number one bus the downtown area for only 20 kroners a trip where a taxi would be about 56 kroners. The nice place is in downtown. Not much of a view of anything. From what I see. This place has a fantastic view but I think I may lose it soon cuz it looks like there's some construction nearby that looks like it's going to be blocked off.

Excelkent value for stay in Nuuk , half the price of hotels in town Near airport, located on harbor, 10’ walk from supermarkets and cafes. 3 miles from Noon Center but nearby bus runs into city. Clean airy common area with all kitchen necessities and free instant coffee packets. People leave food so there was also coffee and fingers for brewing. I stayed 2 nights, saw one other resident each night, both respectful and quiet. Rooms are larger than small hotel rooms, common bathrooms are clean, on-site free washer/dryer

The staff and apartments were outstanding. Especially Kristine stood out with her kindness and willingness to help. The only reason I rated the apartments as 4 and not 5 stars, is that they actually are shared which is not obvious from the booking website. Each unit seems to have 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 singles), and you share the rest of the apartment with other guests. The indicator on the website was the "sleeps 8" comment, that I found surprising but did not investigate further. I was under the impression that I was renting a one-bedroom apartment with kitchen, bathroom and living area. Uur unit companions were equally surprised to see other residents, so it was not only us who missed that aspect. At 60+, I'm not exactly keen on sharing a bathroom with strangers. We were lucky and had great and respectful room mates, but I could easily see this as being a source of contention. So it's more like a very nice hostel than a rental apartment. Also, the manager walked into our unit twice with her key, without even knocking - unacceptable behavior.
