The property is literally in a tiny town with not much to do including extremely limited dining options. The property was also reflective of the old times - basic TV, smaller showers, etc. Apart from that, it was a pretty convenient property. Clean, well-maintained, and friendly staff. Definitely recommended, if you're comfortable with the location. The check-in closes at 9 PM, in case you didn't notice that in the property details.

Easy check in, staff were excellent on reception. Pool is lovely with shaded areas. Room was very clean, bedding was crisp and clean, comfy beds. Bathroom was spotless, on a whole it was a nice spacious motel room in a lovely quiet town. Only small problem was no smart tv, only some digital tv channels.

A local woman told me that the noise of the trains would keep us awake, as the railway line is close. It did not. In fact the couple of freight trains we heard, were not loud, but gave the place a pleasant country soundtrack. The area for improvement is the badly designed step to get into the Office. It is not ergonomic, but a hazard.

The Lyndoun Motel was possibly the cleanest and most well kept motel we stayed in, within a 3 week road trip. It was clean, tidy and well appointed for its price point. The only negative was the proximity to the train line. I would recommend highly as an over-nighter stay.
