Third Great Stay!

Third stay at Solé. The service has always been great. The hotel, hallways, and rooms smell great - a spa/vacation vibe. Feels like they’ve added more pool loungers since my first stay, which was nice - never had an issue finding a spot. The bar service at the beach was great! That team works hard. My balcony was on the North side, and had great views of the ocean and the city. Only critique this visit - the pool area could have used some more frequent sweeps to clear towels and food from spots no longer occupied, empty the garages, etc.. That said, I’d rather have great service and move a couple towels obviously abandoned than vice versa. Who knows? Maybe they were a little understaffed. Either way, it was great, as always.

Beach location but...

WAY overpriced and nickel/dime for everything. Rooms were small and older and bathroom fixtures needed updating - old and damaged. You can hear everyone in hallways walking by the room at all hours of the night. Resort fees and valet parking are ridiculous and not worth the money.

We stayed in room 1505 B. The room is tiny, you can’t even walk around the bed and there is no furniture on the balcony. We paid around $ 1000 in total for two nights. The bathroom was large. It was clean, bed was comfortable. The resort fee of $ 43 gets you lounge chairs on the beach. There is bar service at the beach but everything is served in single use plastic which based on the amount of wind and the carefulness of people sometimes litters the beach and the staff doesn’t really bother to pick up around the area they serve. Unfortunately that is also the case along the beach.

Great location on the beach with good amenities. Loved the vibe. Beach and door staff were great! Comfortable bed. Nice shower. I wish the kitchen was open more hours and offered more gluten free options, or just more options overall. The rooms could use a deep cleaning, for example we had chunks of dust collecting and stringing from our lamps. The staff did not seem to all be on the same page. Drinks and food were different prices depending on who rang you up, and when I talked to an employee in the hallway about my issues with noisy neighbors, they respond with "oh, ok" with no action or follow up. Towels sometimes took hours for delivery. Meetings at the bar during business hours is not a good experience for the customer either. Overall a good experience, the staff just needs a little help with cohesiveness :)
