Enjoyed our overnight stay
The hotel was clean, we stayed for 1 night as my daughter had a cheer competition in town. The 1 bedroom (3rd fl) was spacious and clean. We didn't have time to grab the free breakfast in the morning, no time for pool or workout room so I don't have reviews for that. The bed was very comfortable and pillows. Nice spacious, clean bathroom with good lighting. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great experience all around! From check in to check out, everything went smooth. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was very clean, the pool area was well kept and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. We enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Great for short and long stays
The one bedroom suite was large and spacious. Everything was clean. The bathroom was also spacious. Only downfall of the stay was the bathroom had motion sensor lights that would turn off during showers and you had to get out to get the lights back. Motion in the other rooms would often cause the lights to turn on if the door was open too. We wish we had been able to disable the motion sensor and just use a light switch. Other than this I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

Lights too bright!
The lights in the bathroom being automated was a downside. No one wants to be blasted with light in the middle of the night bathroom trip. That, and the fan was unable to be turned off. Otherwise, everything was clean, fresh, and useful. We really did enjoy the stay.

Great Find in Grand Rapids
We have stayed in several different hotels in Grand Rapids. Our travels are always to family for different occasions. Our stay at Home2 Suites was among the best, for sure. The hotel being new surely helped all rating categories, however the staff are a stand out, as well. Everything was great. We definitely recommend this hotel no matter what your reason for traveling may be. The property is in a great location - easy to get to off the expressway. The restaurants and shopping options are plentiful. The breakfast is probably the best we have ever experienced short of an in-house restaurant. The only thing missing was a bar, but that was of little significance, just a point if that matters to anyone.

Best hotel stay ever in Grand Rapids
On a trip to see family for Christmas, I have to say this hotel was one of tge beat I have stayed at in Grand Rapids. The location and area stores, food, entertainment and gas were a huge perk. The inside staff customer service was awesome! The insidw of the room and all it's accomodations were what I really appreciated, the miceowave, fridge, dishes, dishwasher desk, and couch. It felt like home and the perfect accomodations if i have to travel for work. My sister booked a room and hers was even more spacious. She enjoyed the pool for her family. It was the perfect stay thru the holidays.

Weed infested nobodynst check in!
I drive 3 hours in a snow storm only to have nobody at the front desk or in the manager office. I waited over 20 minutes for help. A security guard walked by and he offered zero help. The front desk rep finally came down after I found a scratch piece of paper with his number on it and callled him. So frustrating. Great facility….lousy service
