Oct 4, 2026This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The facilities were superb, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was so huge and very comfortable, no aches and pains in the morning for sure. Bedding was cotton and excellent quality.
Angela the host was fantastic, great communication via WhatsApp. Sorted the coffee machine straight away when it stopped working.
We had delicious pastries delivered to the room every morning, along with juice and plenty of coffee.
The area around is fabulously interesting, historical and geographically fascinating. I WOULD RECOMMEND A CAR, as the property is tricky to get to by public transport.
Our favourite place was Baia, you have to do the undersea ruins, we did the nemosub which was superb. We'd also recommend the 3D experience which is on the square, that was brilliant at bringing the ruins to life. The castle was also great.
Ofcourse we did Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius, they were about an hour away, without a doubt worth visiting. The path up to the crater of Vesuvius was a slog but do worth it.
If you're really lucky you'll be joined by Angelletta the very chatty cat, who loved attention and cuddles.
