We were disappointed with the little things about the room. Only 1 large towel between two of us, no hand wash in bathroom, one set of small shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, sofa in room very uncomfortable and requires replacing. Food was average and very salty

Room for improvement
Initially i thought the room was very nice but it was a very hot day and the temperature in my room was 27 degrees.
I assumed that there would be aircon but no, apparently only heating ! I asked for a fan which was provided but my room was still over 25 all night with the fan on full therefore although the bed was comfy i got very little sleep.
The room lacks a lot of the basics like nowhere to put soap etc in shower, no shower cap, no toilet brush, no toothbrush holder, no paperwork at all in the information folder, no coasters for cups.
I also found someones used eyelashes on my clean bath towel and dirty marks on my bedroom stool.
I am surprised to find this poor standard from a hotel that is promoting itself as a 4 star hotel and is justifying charging the extortionate drinks prices under that label.

A bit disappointing
We booked a Spa Room. The cleanliness of the room was subpar. We had a room close to the main road, and it was very noisy even with the window closed. The robes are old and need replacing. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a plant-based breakfast, and that was also very good. It's a very nice hotel but I left there a bit disappointed.

Nice hotel but restaurant not as good as usual
The rooms at this hotel are spacious and clean, the only issue it how long it takes to run a bath.
Reception staff were efficient and friendly.
Breakfast was OK.
Dinner was not up to it's usual standard with very slow service. A small burger in a massif bun and "skin on fries", potatoes should be peeled

Service!!
Reception was great, staff welcoming. Downside was the breakfast service staff who were not focussed on delivering the correct breakfast or reacting to “Service” being shouted from the kitchen.
