Fun lodge theme/top knotch staff/animal friendly

The staff where very nice, we had a little issue with the dates, but the front desk staff was helpful finding us a new room. They have a nice grass with trashcan for dogs to roam on. The bed was mildly comfortable and the shower was super super short, i had to squat to wash my hair ( im 5'7"), pressure was amazing, the bathroom was in general very small. Air conditioning worked well, and i liked where the plugs where next to the bed, and i did NOT find any signs of bugs or rodents. They also have a nice restaurant attached to the lobby ($$$ in my opinion). loved the decor in the rooms, felt like a fun lodge with skis above the bed.

Charming but chilly

Overall, I liked this place. It was charming and the staff very friendly. I think my largest complaint is that the bathroom is freezing during the fall/winter/spring. It's not heated, and sitting on the ice cold toilet seat made me not want to go. Not sure how this issue could be resolved, but the experience would be so much better if I didn't fear going to the bathroom.

Average to poor experience

Our first room had a clogged sink, and the heater did not work. The person at the front desk offered us another room. That room had a chemical smell, and we found a bug on the wall and was praying it was not a roach. The heat pump heater was very loud and kept us up much of the night. The people were nice and friendly, but we won't be staying at this place again

Mostly good and value

Clean and friendly service. Quick to handle a question, easy parking. Room was layed out well and NOT cluttered. Parking was right outside our door, water pressure was good and bed was comfortable. The HVAC sounded similar to a 747 touching down on the runway, bring earplugs. But it did work well to dry out all our wet gear.
