The staff was very accommodating and polite. However the room and safety conditions were very poor - curtains and window sill mouldy and dirty - batbroom smelt of poo and dirty flooring - main door to room didn’t lock - cushions dirty - food spillage on the walls

Was asked to pay for parking when it was listed as free. Bed mattress was old and uncomfortable Hotel was in need of refurbishment though was very clean

Room at first was ok. Then waking up in the hour feeling as we were bitten I had red mark that have now puffed so my taking antihistamines. On closer inspection was bed bugs are we killed a few of them leaving the blooded remains on the pillows. We divided to shower and leave the place by 1.30 in the morning. So we had managed to to arrive at 10pm and gone in a few hours. We was in room 21 so really check the room the room with the lights off and use your black light to check the bed and surrounding area. Would I go back to the lodge no not really. Avoid if the other rooms are like it. Seems to have not bad reviews. I did email the lodge advising that they should look into this but expecting to be refunded for the night would be better

The room was generally a bit tatty and dated. There were no tv channels on the tv and an old tv bracket was on the wall but the tv was on a cupboard. Price was good and would stay again if flying from Stansted.

It was meh. The front desk guy was good. It is what it is. Cheap. We weren’t looking for luxuries, just a place to lay our heads. You get what you pay for… it was fine.

Bed side lights not working. Only one towel for two guests. Floor in room all broken, not very good for a disabled person!! TV not working. Reception area very poor and needs repairs. Receptionist asked to borrow a pen to fill out details. Wouldn't stay there again!!!!!

Great for getting to airport as so nearby. The shower was just a drip and the room was hot, so had to open window but then you heard the planes taking off and landing all night. The room was clean. Ideal for quick stayover but nothing more

Close to the airport.

We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight from Stansted as it's less than 10 minutes from the airport.

Room was well priced but I had to ask for toilet paper. The wifi code in the room was incorrect and I had to go and search for it down in reception. One of the bedside lights was not working, the bathroom was a bit smelly / damp smell but you couldn't open the window. There was no breakfast available (which was stated as included in the description when I booked). The bed was comfy and clean and the nosie proofness was good so that the airoplanes didn't disturb..

Were greeted very unwelcomingly and told we were supposed to check in at 3pm when it said 2 pm. Room was okay however the shower didn’t properly work and our bathroom was leaking from the floor above so couldn’t go in without getting dripped on. One of the staff members was helpful and helped us to clean it.

The property was very outdated. I didn't even want to take a shower. It wasn't dirty but gross looking. You should only use it for a rest to get to the airport the next morning, if even for that.
