We were greated as soon as we arrived by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who then showed us to our room. The room was clean and spacious with a very nice bed. Gorgeous family room, such an accommodating establishment! So clean, great food, lovely helpful staff especially the lovely gentleman that checked us in and showed us our family room. Amazing stay for us, our children and our 2 dogs! Will definitely be returning! Thank you all. Room was exactly as photos showed which is a rarity!

We had a nice stay at The Dolphin breakfast and evening meal very good. We were in a “ deluxe “ room, and yes the bed was lovely and comfortable and the room pleasant, however the bathroom was very small with nowhere to put anything except the floor and not even a hook on the door. The biggest problem was the sink, which was a tiny hand wash one.

Looking on the web page the Frontage looks great not so from the rear. Inside is well laid out plenty of seating areas. Cosy means small They run a reduced menu on Sundays which for me was limited. The Staff are helpful and quick to help if you have any issues.

Hotel was situated in a quant village. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was small, everything we needed for 2 nights. Not a good view from the room window. Parking is a bit hit and miss, we had to park in the large car park separate from the hotel which we had to pay for. We had a meal in the pub which was delicious.

Lovely central hotel. Room was extremely hot although we had a fan in the room. It would have been good to have a chair or sofa in the room so we didn’t have to sit on the bed. I'm a coach driver who has visited, literally, hundreds of hotels a year for 50 years. This was a private visit, paid out of my own pocket, to attend my Niece's graduation from Exeter University (she got a 1st!). It is hard to impress me with service, but the Dolphin exceeded all my expectations. The staff were nothing short of fantastic, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast worth far more than I paid. Excellent parking, fantastic service, and I'll be bringing my family back for another stay.
