Amazing experience - I regret staying only one night. I was in a cozy 200-year old chalet, very comfortable and well-equipped, with a fireplace where I lit a small fire while listening to the wind howling outside and sipping on a warm tea under my blanket... I just didn't want that moment to end. The host was very nice, I arrived late and she called me to offer to fix me dinner that I ate in a newly renovated super cozy barn. You can wander around the farm, go see the river full of trouts while admiring the sun setting with the snowy mountain in the background. The breakfast was good and served directly in the chalet. I simply loved it, would definitely stay again and warmly recommend this place!

The cabin in the seter area was an experience like no other for a simplistic stay a bit off the grid. The beauty and peacefulness of the UNESCO area was amazing. Enjoyed exploring the highlands and waking up to the bells of local sheep. Excellent communication leading up to our stay. Thomas and Ingrid are delightful hosts. I am hopeful I have the opportunity to return in the future.

De Mountain Cabin ligt op een afgelegen maar fantastische plek. Wat een rust en wat een natuur! Uitermate knusse berghut, basic (geen koelkast, open haard, dubbele kookpit op gas) maar toch met alles wat je nodig hebt. Eco-toilet in de stal plus de enige douche in het dal. Bij kaarslicht! Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Prachtige wandeltochten in directe omgeving langs de rivier en in de bergen. Neem voldoende (niet-bederfelijke) proviand mee voor een paar dagen, dan hoef je niet onnodig op en neer voor boodschappen. Dan kun je extra van de omgeving genieten.

Nous sommes restés 2j et nous aurions pu y rester une semaine tellement c'était agréable ! Les hôtes étaient très accueillant, serviables et l'appartement était parfait et décoré avec goût. La vue sur la colline depuis la salle à manger était très jolie. Nous avons dîner un soir et c'était bon et réalisé avec du fromage local. Le bain nordique aurait pu sublimer notre séjour s'il n'avait pas fallu un certain montant à ajouter... Pour le moment, c'est le meilleur logement que nous avons eu en Norvège !
