Great place for a family of 4 (2 small kids) the indoor pool is amazing at any weather. Just be aware, that you will need a car and will also use it everyday to get around. There is nothing in walking distance besides other houses

We fell in love with the place. The balcony over looking lake como is perfect. The indoor pool is awesome too. It is indoor at the same time you can still see the beautiful mountain of lake como. We may come back to this place if we are going back to lake como.

Ganska krånglig incheckning. När vi närmades oss boendet så blir vi meddelade att vårt rum ej är städat (klockan var 17:30) och vi tidigast skulle kunna tillträda vårt rum 18.30. Ingen ursäkt eller kompensation. Altanen var ej städad, låg chips, choklad på golvet, saft spillt på stolarna. Utomhus belysningen funkade inte i trapporna och billaddningen funkade ej. Så det var inte värt pengarna.

I stayed at Valarin Residence for a few days and had a truly wonderful experience. The apartment was beautifully designed, very clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a breathtaking view over Lake Como. The pool area was one of my favorite spots to relax, especially after a day exploring the surroundings. The wellness area and gym are also a great bonus—modern, well-maintained, and with an amazing view. The location is perfect: close to restaurants and shops, yet peaceful and private at the same time. You can really feel the exclusive and relaxing atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and relaxing stay in one of Italy’s most beautiful destinations. I’d definitely come back!

It was very nice! Excellent customer service. We could also charge our Electric Car for free. Suggestion for improvement: Just one day I couldn t go to the Sauna because there was a misunderstanding with the maintence guy. He did not realise that I had signed up for the Spa. Cause he was working on the electricity the Sauna was shut off. He proposed me to go 1 hour later, I could even go after the official closing hour. Unfortunatly it did not match with me further schedule. It wasn t bad at all for me but it might be something you can fix to be perfect.

Beautiful apartment. Very well stocked with extra pillows, blankets and towels. Love the spa in the bedroom. The private backyard was our favorite feature. Every morning, we sat out back, listening to the birds and enjoying the amazing view. The digital guest book is very user-friendly and answers all your questions about how to use the different features in the house, places to go and see, restaurants, etc. A couple of things to keep in mind. There’s no staff on site. Everything is done remotely and communicated through Whatsapp. They are very good at it so there wasn’t very many issues. The thermostat is controlled by their offsite staff, which we didn’t really care for. We prefer to have control of our own thermostat when we’re staying someplace… especially for the amount that we paid to stay here. It wasn’t that big of an issue, because most of the time we had the windows and doors opened to the cool temperatures outside. However, a couple of times got very hot and a couple of times got very cold. One other thing. My wife and I tend to be last-minute schedulers. That doesn’t really work for this property if you’re planning to get a ride someplace or use the services like massage. Since they use all third-party companies, you have to schedule ahead of time or you can expect to pay 4 to 5 times the normal price.

Beautiful lake como views but some drawbacks

Pros - Amazing views of Lake Como - Private Large well equipped balcony with 180 degree views of the lake with retractable awning - clean - Very effective air conditioning in living area and bedrooms - Large comfortable beds with black outs - shared access to Lovely pool area - Car parking space - Responsive property manager - Very quiet residential area - Great for a small family or a couple - Slow EV charger for everyone’s use- as long as your neighbours don’t park in it for 3 days :-( - Communal Washing machine and dryer Cons - Large crane and construction immediately in front of the property which we were not informed of - You need a car. The property is quite far up a steep hill with no pavements so if you have a pram or need help with walking this probably isn’t the place for you. Very few amenities nearby but this makes it a very quiet place to be which can also be good! - Kitchen is not very well equipped. If you’re staying for more than 2 nights you’ll need to replenish toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets etc - Weak wifi - sometimes didn’t work at all - Our water was turned off for a few hours one morning with no notice.
