We had a wonderful stay. The room was basic but nice: clean, hot shower, decent beds, good wifi. The hotel amenities were great, with excellent common areas such as kitchenette with fridge, jacuzzi, outdoor lounge areas, recreation and wellness areas. The proximity to the national park cannot be beat as the hotel is just steps from the entrance. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.

It's a lowkey quiet place right across the street from the shuttle for the cloud forest. Staff was super friendly. We went during the off season, so it was super quiet. There's a shared office space for working from.

The room and the property could not be at a better place, right next to the CloudForest Entrance. Rooms are spacious and clean, in the middle of nature. Front desk staff was very helpful in explaining the different options of how we could utilize the couple of days, with different tours, and also helped us in booking some tours and the taxis. The common room is quite big with coffee in the morning. Only suggestion for the management will be to make the shared kitchen a little bit better equipped. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay, and would stay again in our next visit.

Small issue of not having our reservation that was already paid for, but we were able to get the room that we ordered and the customer service was great. there was a change of ownership and they are going through growing pains. The location next to the cloud, Forrest is great and it was really good value for money. The hot tubs were hot and so were the showers.

Room was clean and exactly what we needed during our two night stay. Loved the hot tub. We did have a hard time finding the property as there was no sign at the time of our visit but gps got us 99% of the way. It’s directly across from the meeting point of the guided hanging bridges walking tour so we were able to walk over. You’ll be able to drive about 10 minutes to town. Parking wasn’t too bad in the town area during our stay and the hotel has parking

I absolutely love how the owners have taken such care to modernize and add creative touches to the property. Our room was very comfortable and the nature sounds were wonderful. That being said, the hot water was a significant issue, having to run the water for a long time (5+ minutes) to get any hot water. On the day of our check-out, we couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water after 20 minutes of running the water continuously. Once this issue gets fixed, this property is a gem. It is literally across the street from the entrance of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve!

Loved how close it was to the cloud forest. Loved being surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature 24/7. Loved the nature features incorporated into the room decor. Loved being outside the city but still close enough to everywhere. Loved the recommendations of things to do and the help of the manager to arrange them. Did not love the noisy hallway flooring outside our window. Or that we could hear our neighbors phone conversations. Did not love that the hot tub/pool was not hot.

We arrived at 5:00 pm and the reception doors were locked. I walked around the property and found someone that said they worked there. They let me into a room and left. There was a dead spider and two other dead bugs on the pillows, spiders with egg sacs under the bathroom sink, and long hair in the shower. Expedia "attempted" to contact the property for three days to approve a refund but couldn't get a response.
