ロッジ周辺に散策コースがいくつも設定されており、体力や時間に合わせてコースを選ぶことができます。8月に行きましたが、東京の気温よりも５,６度低かったと思います。廊下に並べられて販売されているアート作品は、ロッジの心地よい装飾にもなっていたと思います。食事で苦手なものもチェックインの際に尋ねてくださいましたが、私が苦手といった食材はしっかり入っていました（笑）。メインディッシュのステーキは出されたときすでに冷えきっていたので、温めてもらうように頼みました（笑）。部屋のwifiはネットワーク名が私のiphoneに出てきませんでした。スタッフの方が言うには、満室で多くの人が使用しているからつながりにくいとのことでしたが、早朝４時半につなげようと思っても、やはりネットワーク名が出てきませんでした（笑）。シャワーをホルダーにかけると、お湯が床と平行に出てくるので、お湯が斜め下方向に落ちるようなホルダーだとシャワーが使いやすいと思います。部屋に金庫がないので、部屋を開けるときには貴重品を持っていくようにしましょう。

音楽堂や、八ヶ岳高原ヒュッテなど由緒ある美しい建築物を丁寧に維持管理していて素晴らしいです。サービスも行き届き皆温かい笑顔で対応していただき、良い新年を迎えることが出来ました。6歳と4歳の孫も普通のディナーでしたがほぼ完食でした。40年前にヒュッテに立ち寄り2度目でしたが変わっておらず感激でした。次回はコンサートに合わせて宿泊したいです。
