Sibenik Old Town
Sibenik Old Town's labyrinth of medieval stone streets reveals new treasures around every corner. The UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral showcases intricate stone lacework that'll make your jaw drop. Climb to St. Michael's Fortress for panoramic Adriatic views worth every step. History buffs and architecture lovers can spend hours exploring Renaissance palaces and intimate squares connected by atmospheric staircases. Traditional konobas serve up authentic Dalmatian specialties in charming stone-walled courtyards. Most of the historic centre is blissfully car-free, so you'll explore the steep cobblestone passages on foot. Local artisan shops sell handmade jewellery and lavender products that make perfect souvenirs.
Grad
Sibenik's Grad area whisks you back in time with its maze of medieval stone streets and UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral. Wander through this fortress town where ancient walls frame picture-perfect harbour views. Traditional konobas serve fresh seafood and regional specialties in charming stone-walled settings with sea views. Accommodation ranges from boutique hotels to family-run apartments within the historic walls. The compact layout makes everything explorable on foot, though visitors should prepare for cobblestones and steps throughout this well-preserved slice of Croatian coastal heritage.

Visitors can enjoy sunset strolls along the waterfront promenade, venture to nearby attractions, or relax at peaceful swimming spots with crystal-clear Adriatic waters. Upscale waterfront restaurants serve fresh seafood with stunning sea views, especially magical at sunset. Accommodation options range from luxury apartments to marina-adjacent hotels, all capturing that perfect Mediterranean vibe. Amadria Park Hotel Ivan
"Rooms and amenities were excellent. Customer service was outstanding. Rooms could use some updating, older stained carpets."
Armerun Heritage Hotel
"A very unique and fantastic boutique hotel, with a wonderful staff and amenities. Directly across the street from the ocean bulkhead and within walking distance of nearly everything that makes Šibenik amazing: beaches, food and old town. I would and will travel to Croatia just to stay here again!"
Heritage Hotel Life Palace
"10 stars 🌟. We loved staying here, location is perfect, right in the middle of the historic old city, wide choice of restaurants on the doorstep. Lovely rooms, very spacious and very quiet inside for a good nights sleep. Amazing, helpful, unobtrusive staff. Helped us to book a wonderful massage in the tranquillity of the spa facility on the top floor as well as recommending a local favourite restaurant, boat trip and booking airport transfers for us. Oh and breakfast was really good too, fab selection of fruit, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and scrambled eggs and hit meats ! 100% recommended."
