Stayed with family for 1 night on the way from Ohio to Hilton Head. Everything was perfect. Easy check in, easy valet parking. Rooms are brand new and clean. Onsite dining was also great. Up scale and modern at a reasonable price. Gambled it would be nicer than similarly priced hotels outside of town and was correct. You won’t regret staying at The Lantern.

This was just a great overall experience. Location, lobby, bar, rooms…we have stayed at a bunch of hotels in Columbia and I would put this towards the top of your list of hotels in town.

The hotel had the cutest vibe in the old firestation. We didn’t have a tv controller and the soap in the shower wouldn’t work, but other than that the stay was great, the bed was comfy, the hangout areas were awesome and the breakfast was yummy!
