very very very disappointed. from Not friendly staff,and we went in to the room and shocked , but i tried to take shower, comes out water with brown colour and can not stop it , the handle was broken too, the wall paint was off, not further thinking, My husband and me , walked out from the hotel and prefer to pay more to other hotel.

basic and poorly maintain
-drops of water was leaking from the ceiling, yet this is not coming from the aircon. So, do not know what is the source of the drip. -baby cockroach in room -cable tv had poor reception -room was generally depressing and not designed for 'warmth' or comfort for a similar price per night, you are better off staying at nearby hotels in the same area with better comfort and more facilities. I had stayed at hotels with cheaper rates that did better than Amaris Bandara.

Great Airport Transfers, But Otherwise Basic
A layover hotel. Sure, there are nicer rooms and better amenities at probably better prices but Amari offers the BEST airport transfer services with a shuttle every 30 min beginning at 3am to midnight. I didn't have a phone and they sent someone with a sign so that I'd know who was my driver for airport pickup. Hotel shower was not great; tiny and lukewarm water. Restaurant partner is typical Indonesian food, so if you don't like it, you won't be happy. Overall satisfied for 1 night but it was a tad pricey for quality. Service was good when requested help for xyz.

OK, but nothing memorable about room
the staff at the hotel were very pleasent to deal with and helpful. I thought for the price there would be a bit more decor in the room. Functional but nothing more. I was not able to use the free airport suttle as my plane was 3 hours late and in the middle of the night. Free breakfast was below average and although it looked like there was cooking available, nothing was offered.

Good place to wait for next plane
The hotel is very well located from the CGK airport, which is good for whom who need a quick stop before the flight or whom who does not want to risk being late due to Jakarta's crazy traffic. On the other hand, nothing much within walk distance from the hotel, thus we need to go to the airport to get a decent choice of food.

Great for transfer
This hotel was great for transfer. The room was big and comfortable. The only down side is that there isn't much around the hotel. The holt begins breakfast at 2am for travelers who have early flights. The breakfast was a variety of local foods that were very familiar to Western palates. The hotel offers are free shuttle to the airport . The shuttle was ti key and comfortable. Jakarta is notorious for its traffic so plan accordingly.

For one night only...
We stayed here between two flights so we were only there for one night on our way to Bali and one night on our way home. It's close to the airport and cheap which is why we stayed here. It is clean but is shabby. This is not a place you want to stay at, as a destination but is good for a shower and a quick nap between flights. There is nothing around, only one, sketchy looking food option. They do have a free shuttle but you need to check in with them to confirm they will pick you up. We set one up and no one came so we had to have the airport staff call for us. They had to call six times before anyone at the hotel answered, but they did come get us 15 minutes later. It's good for what it is and not bad for Indonesian standards.

Decent place to crash
Spent one night here before flying out again in the morning- it was just fine. All staff were friendly and the rooms did the job. It is a $15 cab ride from the airport which wasn't bad, though getting to the hotel takes much longer than leaving the hotel to go to the airport, due to the roads. Wouldn't make this a vacation destination... But for the price and convenience, it's great.
