DON’T. BOOK. HERE.
First off, they can’t seem to manage their listings & regularly overbook the resort. They blame Expedia or “hackers” as I see in another review. But it’s very obviously an on-going “them” issue that they aren’t willing to fix or communicate.
I called them to question why I hadn’t seen an email with check-in instructions, as Expedia advised I would within 24 hrs of check-in. It wasn’t until THEN, that I was told they were overbooked and could not accommodate us. They hadn’t bothered to reach out proactively.
I was told they already contacted Expedia & I’d be getting a refund. I asked for proof of that in writing. I got nothing. I reached out to Expedia. There were no notes on my reservation. I ultimately got a refund processed; not the host.
Now… we had friends tenting it on sight. They let us park & sleep in our car. So we still got to experience the property. Beyond the overbooking issue- sadly, were just more issues.
Our friends had to go searching high and low, even across the sandy beach to the tiki bar, to find any check-in assistance. The showers were nasty, in disrepair and not cleaned our entire stay. Bathrooms, both men and women’s, were left with poop stains and without toilet paper for over 15 hours. The “fresh water” looked more like chunky milk, even after letting the spigot run. Loud bar music past 11:30pm. Tiny sites butted up to noisy air conditioning units & a busy parking lot are just the tip of this iceberg.
Seriously, AVOID!
