Aug 2, 2026Overall we were very impressed with this location. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful especially during our check in. The location was perfect for our week stay for softball nationals. The only thing my teen girls said was they wished the rooms had a full length mirror.

Aug 16, 2026The Staff is exceptional - thoughtful, efficient and professional. The rooms at the Beachcomber are large with kitchens. They’re well designed and super clean - kudos to housekeeping. Although the hotel is right on Coastal Hwy, the room was very quiet - without street or guest noise. I’ve already recommended the Beachcomber to a friend!

Sep 10, 2026The floors were our only issue. Our son is still crawling and his hands, knees and feet were black. That was as soon as we got there. “Water view” is a small amount of the bay but it still allowed for a pretty sunset.

Jul 27, 2026Staff were wonderful & nice to work with at the motel. No WIFI. Rooms were spacious and bed comfortable. Kitchenette & supplies were nice. Bathroom small and unusual, but okay setup (small shower & toilet crammed in a small room with bathroom sink out in kitchen area.) Could use some other chairs in the room & table for convenience.
Overall we would be happy to go again!

Jul 23, 2026This is newly remodeled, and boy did it need it from the last time I stayed here. New floors, fridge, bed, sinks, kitchen, and dressers. The only issue as before was the bathroom was very tiny. And the noise from the street. But they have an ice machine and a clean pool!

Aug 28, 2026Everything about my stay was 5 star except...there is 1 mirror in the whole room and it is located on the medicine cabinet above the bathroom sink. And if you are shorter than 5'2, which I am, you need to stand on a chair to use it. Owner, put a full length mirror on the wall. And a box of tissues as well. I'm hoping to go back for a longer stay with my adult children next summer, provided there is a mirror there.

Sep 9, 2026Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were great, roomy with comfortable beds...even the sofa bed! There were lots of thoughtful amenities, like separate sink area outside of the main bathroom which was very helpful, lots of storage and a great kitchen area with almost everything you need. The AC cranked which was much appreciated. The location was tops. Close to the beach and some wonderful reataurants, ice cream and shopping were all within walking distance.
A few things that would have made the visit better: Hand towels for the bathroom sink. Dish towels for the kitchen or a roll of paper towels and lastly a better mirror. At 5'2", I was too short to see more than the top half of my face as the mirror was too high over the sink...so maybe a separate full length mirror in addition? None the less, we would definitely stay here again. I would just bring a hand towel from home and a roll of paper towels.

The walk to the beach was easy peasy! There are stairs to access the floors or the elevator, and both were easy to use and working! Housekeeping welcomed you every morning with a smile and good morning! Definitely a place we would stay again!

Aug 10, 2026We had a wonderful stay at this motel during our family vacation and were genuinely impressed with the place.
One of the things we loved most was the beautiful drywood flooring. It gave the room a clean, warm, and modern feel, and we really appreciated not having carpet, especially while traveling with kids. The room also had a lovely view with full of lights, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was nice to relax and take in the scenery after a day of sightseeing and activities.
The kitchenette was another big plus for us. Having the extra space and ability to prepare or store food was very convenient, especially for a family. We also loved the ample closet space, which made it easy to keep our belongings organized and avoid having everything scattered around the room.
The bedding deserves a special mention as well. It was beautiful, comfortable, and made the room feel cozy and inviting.
The employee we interacted with was also very cool, friendly, and easygoing. Their pleasant attitude added to the overall positive experience.
Highly recommended.

Jul 29, 2026Newly renovated, large room with nice balcony, brand new kitchenette area with large fridge. The bed was comfortable. The linens are pure white and very clean. AC was ice cold. Very nice pool. Onsite parking. LOCATION! 2 min walk to the beach and no roads to cross. Excellent spot to enjoy the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room service is OUTSTANDING! Jess fixed up our room everyday like we were in a 5 star resort! This is our first stay here since the remodel and we were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Jun 23, 2026Very clean, two minute to the beach, and very nice pool! Only downside is no wi-fi and you can't hook up a console or streaming device to watch streaming apps. Also wish there was more parking. Thankfully we were always able to get to a spot before it was full but late night goers may struggle. Definitely a nice spot for those who don't care about that stuff and close to the beach.
