Hotel itself was outdated. Bed and pillows was very hard. Lampshade was broken. Toilet was very old. Staff was very helpful though. Very friendly

Leaky sink flooded our room and soaked our cases and bags, had to check out earlier. Also cleaners didn’t bother servicing the room the entire stay. Wouldn’t book again.

10/10 Exceptional

First the staff was excellent. They were accommodating. They wanted me to be happy with my stay. There was a small hiccup but when I mentioned it to the front desk it was addressed immediately. A speedy response. Great personnel. My stay was short, only three days, and memorable. They assisted in some snafus that occurred while booking trips and tours and excursions. Wonderful and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

2/10 Poor

Booked under assumption of riad, it’s not a riad On arrival room was not ready at check in time, bathroom rail broken and facilities not working. Toilet not flushing properly and hotel staff tried to convince us that the flush was functional. Room service phone not working and not connected and we had to go downstairs for room service Room also unclean and the balcony door was unlocked when we came back into the room after the day hence security risk of break in Due to Expedia phone not connecting and due to last minute hotel prices unable to change hotel and had to stay in this hellhole. Bathroom wall plaster also broken and bathroom kept flooding. Bed sheets had to be changed as not changed and previous customers had nailpolish on. Sheets had holes in it and not sure if had bedbugs City tax taken in cash and not card Asked for more shampoo, soap, towels as not enough for our stay and not provided. Staff limited English Unable to sleep due to thin walls and door was being slammed to be shut by staff and neighbours. Advertised to have a spa, does not have a spa on site Only good thing was that a McDonald’s was nearby and that the bus stop was opposite. Better to stay in medina or menara mall area avoid

Friendly staff. 2-3 stars realistically.

The house is beautiful but needs work. The towels, beds, ventilation, soaps, and general condition all do not meet what this house deserves yet. The staff are very friendly though and well meaning. Hopefully they will restore this house to its glory one day.

Enjoyable stay. Lovely people and city.

Happy for the price. Pool was closed despite 31 degrees but it was November. The hotel is in line with the standard to expect and if you are a first timer you may feel it is lacking in ways. Go without expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. The staff at the hotel were great and helpful. It was quire at night and taxi to the main square is 5 euros. I would recommend this hotel on price and location. Parking is easy although I don’t advise renting a car as driving in Marrakech is challenging.

This property had such poor reviews, but I thought I’d see. The reviews were not wholly incorrect but I think my expectations were very different to others. I wanted somewhere safe, accessible with a good shower & clean sheets. That’s exactly what I got! The building definitely needs refurbishment, paint woodwork etc, but it’s uniquely aged ….. I loved it there.

The bathroom was a bit inconvenient to use since it didn’t have a door, but aside from that, it was clean and quiet. Overall, we really liked the place.

2/10 Poor

This property needs to renovate all bathrooms, because shower and sink drains were not working right as water was still staying there after top until sufficient time had passed. Second, there were some ants crawling around and on the bed. Fumigation is recommended. Bed sheets had stains and they must be washed cleanly.

Terrible place! Was run down and dirty. Bedsheets had some kind of crust caked on them, toilet did not work, shower was dirty, as well as the towels. When we walked into the hotel we were met with the chambermaid throwing out the dirty mop water out on the front door step. We immediately called Expedia to help us with getting our money back, because there was no way we were staying. Eventually we were reimbursed, as the hotel manager knows that it is not worth it to even try to stay here. Do not be like us, and avoid this place at all costs!
