We enjoyed our stay at Kings Suites very much. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and in a lovely courtyard. The hotel is directly across the street, as is the Kings Cafe. We had breakfast and lunch there and both were very good. The sun loungers were free to use which was a nice touch, and we were able to order food and drinks from the sun loungers. The staff assisted us with an extra nights stay and also with transportation to the airport. We would stay again.

Not what we expected

The photos make this place look much larger than they are in person. The room was above the King's Cafe and not where Google shows it. Check-in wasn't as warm and welcoming as we had experienced in all 3 of our other stays throughout Greece. The room also had a slight odor although it wasn't overpowering. We skipped the pool since it had visible alge growth. We did see a worker later in the day cleaning it, but it was visibly green when we arrived. The reason I gave it three stars instead of 1 or 2 was that the food there was nice, and the beach access was convenient and included. Overall, we wouldn't recommend it but it was one of the cheaper places to stay so I'd leave it up to you if you don't mind the issues above.

Perfect Honeymoon!!

Our stay at Kings Suites was amazing! We stayed in a junior suite and it was by far our biggest hotel room on our 2 week honeymoon stay. Plenty of sun beds right by the water. The staff was readily available to help assist us in anyway, helping us get transportation to and from the airport, to printing out Covid forms that were needed for our return flight. Although at first it was very convenient to eat at their restaurant we found that the food was one of the most delicious spots! I had the BEST mussels there, they were so fresh. Overall you will not regret your stay here!

Romantic and Quaint

We spent 4 nights here on our honeymoon. It was comfortable and gorgeous! Our room had a beautiful ocean view balcony and we had unlimited beach access with chair and an umbrella. The hotel is very small and tucked away behind a restaurant. The breakfast was delicious each morning. The location is fun with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. This is the landing path for the airport so you do hear big planes fly over throughout the day. This didn't bother us, but it might not be appreciated by others. We would come back and stay there again!

Location is right on the beach, staff so helpful and kind(in a Greek way) downstairs rooms are noisy. The staff can be heard from 7am until 3am aswell as guests passing by. Spotlessly cleaned and tidied everyday, new towels everyday. Comfortable beds and powerful spacious showers too.

Great location

Check in was a little odd because the hotel doesn’t actually have a lobby or front desk. You check in in the restaurant on site. There was definitely a language barrier with the guy that showed us to our room. We were not able to get much information out of him there for we were hoping for an information binder in our room, there wasn’t. We really had to work for basic information such as wifi password, breakfast time, how to order a taxi etc. The decor of our room was very cool and it was clean. Breakfast had a very good variety. Location of this hotel is right on the beach and along a popular walking path that people stroll at all hours. The staff were friendly.

Simply put review.

Planes landing every hour at least all day every day and they are very very low. Airport is close. Flight path is directly over the hotel. Cleaners and staff out at 8am and aren’t quiet in the communal walk way. The area lends itself to being open late but be prepared to have no extra hours sleep. Definitely take ear plugs. Hotel prices for drinks are expensive but most are on the strip. There’s a few places that are a couple of euros cheaper but 5euros for a large local draught beer and 10 for a cocktail is average. Inc breakfast is very basic. Worth not having it and going to eat in other restaurants as breakfast is reasonably priced and with good variety. Hotel is immediately on the front. Few local shops near by for quick easy food and alcohol. The trip to the “hot springs” is rubbish. Went on a boat and dived, had nice food but 20 minutes in dirty water isn’t worth it. Sunset on the boats is good but I wouldn’t bother with hot springs, it’s literally a cove with rusty looking water that was mildly warm and stains all your swimwear. The town itself is tidy enough but check flight paths as the further away from this end of the strip the better from a sleep point of view. Airport is shockingly slow in every aspect. Don’t turn up prompt and early to check bags in as you have to stay outside the airport in a queue until your allowed in. Basic inside, duty free is poor. Sandwiches are good and reasonable.

Kamari beach boutique hotel

Boutique beach hotel, with a relaxed Greek feel. All you need for a relaxing stay in the sunshine. Overall, loved this place. Comfortable, well designed boutique rooms. Great selection of chilled restaurants and bars on the door step. Some might be bothered by the occasional aircraft noise as this section of beach is on final approach to the airport.

Lovely little hotel, would stay again for sure!

Lovely little hotel in a great location right on Kamari beach. There’s no actual reception so check-in closes at 9pm, I sent an email to the hotel because my flight wasn’t due to land until 1am - they replied straight away and made sure somebody was there to let me in the room. Rooms are lovely, comfortable, clean, good shower and a/c, free safety deposit box, wifi, everything you need really. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection, the restaurant attached to the hotel also served great food! The only slight downside to the hotel overall was the size of the pool, like almost all of the hotels on the beach front, it was very small. Clean and refreshing though and with the sea a 30 second walk away it doesn’t really matter.

Perfect

Have stayed in Kamari before but Kings Suites made the stay all that more special. Nothing was too much trouble. Great staff who were attentive and friendly. Perfect location. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would not stay anywhere else if we return to Santorini.
