I have a family of 5 and we stayed over the school holidays for 3 nights.. We fitted comfortably into 1 room which was clean, organised and warm. The service was amazing with requests easily sorted. There was lots of coffee and tea each day. It is only an hour and a quarter to Mt Selwyn and easy walk to all services. We fully recommend this Motor Inn to all.

Not a great stay. Location is good, and room is comfortable, but maintenance lacking. Towel rail missing from bathroom, plug jammed in basin “why did you use it?” was Reception’s response, and overblanket dirty. AC was limited to 23deg, which meant room never got above 17deg when it was sub-zero outside.

I did not get to stay. I cancelled my booking as I was medically advised not to travel, & have been scheduled for urgent hospitalisation. Wotif failed to notify the Motel. I was fully charged even though I had cancelled.
