Environmental protection or cost saving?

Hotel location is good as it links to JR station. For the room cleaning, it has default you don't need it unless you press the room cleaning button the night before. I ended up forgot to press the button and when I returned to the room, no one tidy up the room, no water with trash staying there. While I also stayed in the same chain hotel in Akita, the way they did it is far more better. They assume you'll need room cleaning unless you told them you don't. Hope the Sendai East hotel can rethink this so called "environmental protection policy" and improve their services.

I was amazed that I could see the Shinkansen from my room, but not hear it at all. The soundproofing is superb. The hotel connects to the train station with everything you might need. I was a little disappointed by breakfast. Crowded and not the quality I’d hoped for. Probably won’t opt for it here next time.

Das Hotel punktet durch seine unmittelbare Nähe zum Bahnhof. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und vor allem im Restaurantbereich (Frühstück) stark renovierungsbedürftig. Das Mobiliar ist alt und abgewetzt und bedürfte dringend einer Komplettreinigung bzw. eines Austausches. Auffällig und nicht sehr angenehm ist die Arbeitskleidung (Schürzen) der Bediensteten. Diese sind zerschlissen und nicht sauber. Das kann einem den Appetit aufs Frühstück verderben. Das Frühstück dagegen ist vielfältig und gut. Das Personal ist sehr ruhig und vorsichtig. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet und im Gegensatz zum Restaurantbereich sehr sauber und ordentlich.
