Sep 6, 2026I stayed here for 3 nights. Good location,shops nearby. I would have preferred to have a net curtain being on the ground floor because my room was facing a main road and didn't have much privacy unless I closed the curtains. But I would stay here again.

Rooms need abit of TLC .
Had a kettle in the room , where was the plug socket ???
T.v Remote didnt work and the channels were Shopping Channels .

Sep 10, 2026I know this was a cheap break away but I wish we’d not bothered. There is no real security at the hotel. Just an old fashioned Yale lock on the bedroom door. Anyone can access the inside of the hotel during the day. Our bathroom light buzzed on and off all night even though it wasn’t switched on. The room was very small with furniture that looked like a misc job lot from a warehouse. The hotel needs a complete refurb. However the TV worked and there’s a couple of takeaways near by. Parking was good.

Jun 30, 2026All was great for the price and the staff were really friendly. The staff warned us about the lift that was not working and even came to see if the room was ok which it was. The highlight was the walk along the river into the city and the breakfast from the place round the corner. We will stay again if in town.

Nice tv, comfortable bed, powerful shower.....a little too powerful that it sprays the ceiling, but i enjoyed it nonetheless. Plenty of parking, onsite and on street. Various places to eat near by. Would stay again and recommend
