The room smelled like an ashtray. With only three dead crickets in the floor. Staff was pleasant. The property is understandably in a less than upscale area, but the attempt to improve the stairs and exterior may help.

I did reply to the text I received asking if there was anything they could do to make my stay better. I replied with a picture and comment but received no response. A response would have probably insured another stay on my way back through.

This is a recently converted Super 8 and although they are still making it perfect on the outside, the room was Excellent. Super clean, very comfortable bed, and nice appliances and TV. The gentleman at the counter was also great! Very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
