We’ve been staying at the Omni Shoreham Hotel for years now. Our son went to college in the area and now lives there. The hotel is conveniently situated near the metro and the many interesting neighborhoods in Washington DC. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. The rooms are generously sized for a city hotel. Dogs are permitted in the hotel and we frequently travel with ours. It’s just a completely comfortable, beautiful historic hotel and we feel at home there.

Nice stately grand dame ..well maintained overall...lovely gardens and pool (did not use pool)...convenient to metro and DC sights and activities..nice lobby and restaurant plus comfortable "club" bar. Room was nice, clean and large enough though slightly musty smelling until we ran A/C for a while. Bathroom is small but clean. But all in all a really wonderful hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

The property is absolutely beautiful!! The pool, the lobby area, the little children’s play area, and the grounds were immaculately kept. Our room was clean and well appointed for our stay as visitors to the city. Walking distance to a metro stop, the zoo and coffee shops and restaurants were yet another perk. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating as we asked for adjoining rooms with our family that was traveling with us.

Gorgeous hotel. The pool is lovely. We had a beautiful view of the pool. Cozy room. Beds were a bit hard. Hotel bar makes great cocktails. Lots of restaurants right around the corner. Parking rates are ridiculous plus they added a surcharge to parking. We had to valet ( no self parking )and every time we left and returned we had to tip. We paid $300 for 4 nights. For that reason, we will not return.
