disappointment and dissatisfaction
We were very disappointed with the hotel and the room we rented. The bathroom was in very bad condition, the walls and doors had mold, there was humidity, the carpet in the hallways was very dirty. The price I paid did not correspond to the hotel service. I am a repeat customer and this time I was not satisfied. They also charged for parking. I traveled with two businessmen from my company and I was very embarrassed.

The check in really wasn’t great! What should have taken less than a few minutes took at least 10 minutes. She was too focussed on keeping her personal phone on by tapping the screen. She started a conversation with another person who then moved up beside me and she kept talking with him for roughly 5 minutes in Spanish. There was no focus on getting my check in finished and let me move on. She gave us a room on the second floor and didn’t direct us to where to go so we went to the elevator and it wasn’t working, carried our luggage up the stairs to find that our room number wasn’t on the second floor., so we hauled it all back down the stairs and I went to the desk to ask where is our room? She then told us it’s in the other building! I asked if the elevator worked and yes it did! I was very frustrated with this check in and little help provided. The hotel is old so don’t expect much but it was clean. There is a free continental breakfast. You are very close to the airport.

We had a horrible experience at this place. Room conditions were extremely poor. I complained to the hotel staff but they wouldn't do anything about it. I also contacted Red Roof office but they weren;t help either.

For for the expectations.
You get what you pay for. You don't pay much, you don't get much. Hallway floors are stained, hotel is not tip top shape. Airport shuttle is hit or miss. But, rooms were clean enough and beds comfortable. Includes an added fee cruise shuttle which is a bonus.

The non existent transfer from the airport!
Waited over an hour for transfer to turn up, then gave up and paid $15 for a taxi! Supposed to be every 30mins, suggested we might call but did not provide telephone number! At check in had to ask time for vacating rooms and not provided with time of breakfast. Just made it at 8.45 a.m. for it to then close at 9.00 a.m.! Room,comfortable and spacious, good hot shower.

Functional
Hotel was suffering quite a bit of disrepair. Probably the worst bed I've ever slept in at a hotel, my back is still recovering. Lot's of people smoking tobacco and weed aroud the pool deck. This is a full on airport hotel, directly across the road, so planes taking off every 60 seconds all day, i didn't really hear them much in the room overnight though. Breakfast had no eggs or meat but had fresh waffles, plenty of pastries, cereal, and some fruits. Staff was friendly and helpful. Airport transfer was prompt and easy.
