The room was not bad - had a great tub in the room!! Otherwise, the room was not well maintained- the faucet was broken and the the wall had a gap where the cables entered the room.

Wouldn’t Stay Again Even If It Was Free
In a word…Gross Pictures on-line DEFINITELY don’t match the reality. Door was broken, both beds were the letter “U” shaped (sagging) and the “Air Conditioning” was a floor unit cut into the wall that you could put your hand through and touch outside.

Never again
I can tell you that I probably will never use this hotel again. I had problems right from the get-go. My first room had problems with the lock and handle. This made me think about my safety while I was there. The room was not very clean. The shower itself was nasty. I tried to clean it myself but the walls, as they got wet, started to turn brown where the water hit. It did not smell very good. It smelt like dog pee. One of my neighbors had a small animal, maybe a dog, and continued to sneak over to my balcony to do his or her business. Housekeeping left a giant bucket and mop right outside my room and the smell drifted into my room. I believe it was there for about two days. Keep in mind I was only there for two nights and three days. I am not sure if it was because of the walls or the door, but I could hear people walking and talking in the halls and every time someone would enter their room, I could hear the doors slamming. It sounded like somebody opened my door, that is how loud it was. This was supposed to be a “safe“ area. Just a half a block away was a soup kitchen and I believe either low income or free housing or possibly a halfway house. There were many many intoxicated and very loud people walking the streets at all hours of the night and day. Every time I left the hotel, I was approached by different people panhandling for money or cigarettes. I was alone and actually had a hard time relaxing, let alone sleeping.

This place is awful. Dirty towels piled in the hallway. Way passed time for renovation. Our room makeshift ac vent came off in the middle of the night. We had to fix it. Very bad!

Booked a week in advance, check in slow, two people at desk, only one working. In room, a/c, phone, not working, tv, worked. Window broken, would not close, not a great part of town! So i got to listen to the trains every half hour all night! Won’t Ever stay here again! Will not recommend it to anyone!! WYNDHAM, YOU NEED TO RETHINK THIS PROPERTY!!!!

Cheaper but not worth it
They offered a ride from the train station, 4 blocks away, "he'll be right over," but didn't tell us he was 30 minutes away. We got a taxi eventually. Then arrived and they had given our room away (10 pm). We still had to feed the kids by 11 when restaurant closed. After much wrangling to get what we paid for ($293 for a room!), they said they could give us a room (someone else's), but it wasn't clean yet! The cleaning lady said, "I can do it in 5 minutes." Right. We went to dinner. Then to the room at 11:30 pm to put the kids to bed. The beds were made, but sheets were wrinkled and one had a big tobacco-like drool right on it right in view! The floor was covered in bits of trash - toilet paper, crumbs, etc. I guess the 5 minute clean was just a towel change and make the beds. When I complained, they said they were on it. They weren't. After waiting till after midnight, I finally went to the maids closed and we made the beds ourselves with new sheets and mopped the floor on hands and knees with a wet rag. After paying thousands to get my family up here for vacation, this was not what I had hoped for! I am embarrassed for Ramada, really.

Don’t recommend this property.
Although the property is labeled under renovation, it is beyond just renovation. The amount hot water available for shower — a short shower — was not dependable and experienced by multiple guests. We asked for a refrigerator and never received it. The faucet in the shower was only partially screwed on. The front desk workers were disorganized at check in with a long line and not sure what rooms were ready. The people who asked for a king size bed did not receive it. The front desk people were wearing sunglasses indoors on a cloudy/rainy day.
