If you want a restless night in Chicago stay here
The front desk was very polite at check it but customer service stopped after the check in process. we had no coffee in the rooms and went to ask for some at the front desk and was told we had to pay for it cause there was already 4 in the room. The water bottles they had in the room had a 2023 expiration date on them. i asked for new ones and they said i had to buy them after they told me that we got 2 bottles for free. The beds were absolutely terrible. Make sure you book a chiropractic appointment after laying on the terrible beds and pillows that go flat as paper when you lay on them. Rooms are poorly insulated all you heard all night were doors slamming up and down the hall, Every conversation in the hall could be heard. If you want a restless night for your chicago stay this is the place for you.

The hotel itself was aesthetically pleasing and clean. The check-in process was quick and easy and the check-in agent was great. The room was nice but the location was near the street and the cars were loud with constant sirens, cars honking, and cars revving. The hotel did experience a fire on the floor above us. There was no alarm or indication that there was a fire besides the poor agent running door to door knocking to let us know there was one. That same agent had to help customers checking in with their bags after being the ONLY one running door to door up and down 16+ flights of stairs MULTIPLE TIMES acting as the fire alarm system, didn’t see any other agents assisting him. I may be incorrect, but I didn’t see them helping him with my own eyes. Other than the loud street and fire inconvenience, the hotel was nice. Was concerned that no fire alarm went off tho. Would rate a 3/5 overall. (Wish I got that agents name, he was kind, soft spoken, and attentive. HE DESERVES A RAISE AND RECOGNITION.) He wore glasses, nose piercings, and had long hair.

Solid no frills hotel
Fun hotel at a great price. Though the hotel is newer, it was another hotel previously. Some of the fixtures from the previous hotel are still in the rooms and are falling apart. Rooms could use more closet space. Customer service was not bad at all, just very slow. There is usually only one valet working so parking and getting your car is a little slow. Great location, just be aware there is construction in the area, so it’s a little loud. The walls and windows are not sound proof at all. Though this hotel is part of the Accor group, if you are looking for luxury, this hotel is not it. The art gallery is a nice element.

I usually stay at Marriott properties but this hotel was exceptional. We had a corner room we gave us both the opportunity to be on concurrent phone calls. Climate control and room amenities were all great at a reasonable price.
