The Hilton Hotel, close to cathedral and the main square, is ideally located for a visit of Antwerp. The personnel is friendly and efficient. On the executive level the rooms are spacious, On that same floor there is a comfortable lounge, open for breakfast and happy hour. Excellent full breakfast on the main floor.

The location of the hotel in the city centre of Antwerpen is amazing. Direct connection with public parking (don’t come with a SUV). You can easily walk to bars, restaurants, church, shops. The hotel itself should not carry the Hilton name but should be under a cheaper banner. Outdated, room smelled a bit musty, Shampoo/ shower gel in shower were empty, etc. All things you wouldn’t expect from a Hilton hotel. Breakfast was good but no live cooking or fresh cappuccino but all machine coffees.

Very friendly helpful staff! The only drawback was gym- there was no ac so they put a small floor unit which was insufficient, one elliptical was not working correctly and no one knew, plus the water cooler was left empty for 24 hours. Also the TV did not function properly in the room and the maintenance person said he could not reset it. But overall good experience.
