Oct 4, 2026Pros: the villa is wonderfully appointed, well stocked and feels very home like and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well (which is rare for me on holiday). There was a wonderful little instant espresso machine in the kitchen area that I enjoyed. There are restaurants, gelato and markets within walking distance. The view was nice (from the first floor unit) including a small semi private yard but if you can, definitely try to get a second floor unit with a better view of the Tuscan countryside. The parking is close by which was great since parking can be tricky in the area. I would definitely stay again if I were to be in this region but for sure get a second floor with view.
Cons: the check in was very confusing and I ended up getting very lost trying to locate the property after I reported to the main hotel and got a map. Thanks to the help of a local young man out walking his dog, I eventually located it. The door and gate codes seem a bit excessive. I was traveling solo and had to throw the car in park and get out and walk to the oppose side of the car every time I needed to go in or out of the private driveway.
