we had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. the entire property is beautiful and very tranquil. we ate at the cellar bar multiple times, the food was great and staff helpful and friendly. there are multiple gorgeous lounge areas and it truly does feel like you’re a guest at someone’s home. the only small complaint we had in our room felt a little stuffy even using the provided fan, and we couldn’t figure out if there was a way to turn off the heater. overall we loved the stay and we will definitely return!

Cahernane is a favorite when we are traveling in Killarney. The grounds are beautiful and walkable, there is parking on site, and we can easily walk into Killarney for shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The rooms are steeped in history and are always nicely appointed. There is a very nice/restaurant/bar downstairs which we usually frequent at least once during our stay there. The breakfasts are exceptional and overlook the grounds behind the hotel. You can also walk to the racetrack nearby and sip a coffee while overlooking the mountains.

A Wonderful Stay at Cahernane House Hotel – Highly Recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our recent three-night stay at Cahernane House Hotel. This is a truly charming hotel, combining old-world elegance and character with modern comfort, all set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The accommodation was excellent, the food superb, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive. However, what really makes Cahernane special is its staff. Without exception, everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional and genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, offering a relaxing retreat while being conveniently located close to Killarney. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and a credit to the management and entire team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Cahernane House Hotel and look forward to returning.

We had the most magical stay at Cahernane house. The grounds are spectacular and we used the free bikes and walked to explore them. The staff went over and above to make our time there amazing—from a private history tour to amazing recommendations for places to eat in our next destination, they were incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was exquisite and not over the top, so we felt very comfortable. The included amenities were fabulous. This was absolutely our favorite hotel during our trip to Ireland. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Hotel was excellent. Two very minor comments. 1. Wish hotel would have asked if we were celebrating anything and then offered something small. It was our 40th anniversary. 2. We chose an excursion that was recommended by hotel website (boat & bus) but there was confusion as to the starting point (hotel or Ross castle). We made the trip and it was excellent but there was confusion.
