Truckee Donner Lodge was ok for our ski trip in the area. The property itself doesn't have much to offer and the area around the property, being by I-80, has only a gas station and Taco Bell. It does offer breakfast and there is a hot tub outdoors. The website says "coffee and tea in common areas" but the coffee machine was shut down after breakfast during our 3-day stay. It would have been nice to be able to get some hot drink after skiing the whole day. It was of course very expensive during the Christmas holiday considering the property and facilities.

ok place to stay but not great.

My room did not had any view and they blame it to hotel.com not letting them know that I asked for Mountain View. breakfast area was jammed with no room to seat plus on next day they did not serve breakfast fully since they had issue with leak ,staff were asking extra $10.00 for few minutes early check-in even though they send text that your room is ready at 2:30 and when I arrived few minutes before 3:00pm was consider early checking . over all not a bad place to stay but I may look for other option before booking again
