Genuinely very nice hotel. Large, modern and spacious lobby with helpful and friendly staff. I stayed in a single room with a balcony on the 2nd floor, room was a good size, as was the bed. Great shower with regular and rain fall style, and quite a large bathroom. Very clean, modern room with everything you could need. Superb location, super easy for connections to Bergamo airport and metro, both a couple of minutes walk away, and well located to walk to all the sights in the city. Able to set room temperature / air con was great. Only tiny complaints - would be good to be able to say I don't want room cleaning (e.g. using a door indicator like in other hotels) as it really wasn't needed for a short stay, would like liquid hand soap in the bathroom (a bar is kind of gross), a way to stop the shower making the whole bathroom floor wet (the shower curtains just aren't wide enough), and more than one pillow would be nice (I asked one evening for another, they said it would be brought to the room in "a couple of minutes" but I'm back home in England now and still waiting :-)). But overall, a great stay, good value and I would absolutely stay again.

GREAT PLACE IN MILAN.... GO THERE
THE HOTEL IS WORTH IT'S MONEY IN GOLD. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. THE STAFF SPEAKS IN MULTIPULE LANGUAGES. My hotel room came with small frig so you can store food and drinks. My room did not have a bathtub which I assume it did but had a shower instead. House keeping comes daily to give you new towels and they make your bed and clean the floors. The Spice Hotel is close to Central train station and there is a lot of food places to eat and they are open late at night as they know they are catering to tourist and visitors. They offer taxis services for $130 euro's to Malpensa international airport which saved me time and very easy. You need to reserve taxi services 24 hour before your airplane departure with the front desk staff at the Spice Hotel.

Clean & comfortable
Great location just steps away from the train station, but I always felt safe in the area. Nothing luxurious but very comfortable. The room was clean and serviceable. Breakfast was very good - worth paying in advance as it's cheaper to do so than to pay the day of.

Nice enough but too warm and very noisy.
I'm scoring my review as average based on how I was able to sleep here. Great location, just moments from Central Station with plenty of places to eat right on the doorstep. It's nicely presented and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I was facing the street. The room was immaculately clean and the bathroom was excellent. It came equipped with a flat screen tv, a mini bar and basic toiletries in the bathroom. The room was modern and fresh and I was really pleased with it. Great first impression. Wifi is available free of charge but the speeds are absolutely awful, meaning that I just stuck to 5G on my phone. Nice clean towels and bedding. What really let the hotel down was noise and the fact that the room was like a sauna. It would appear that the hotel have disabled the AC for the winter period to save money, but the temperature of my room was 28° . I was able to open the window during the day, but needed to keep it closed at night to keep the street noise to a minimum. It's central Milan and it's noisy. This meant that my room was absolutely stifling. The cleaning staff parked their trollies right outside my room every morning and were banging and smashing about, with mobile phones ringing every morning. This also disturbed my sleep. I slept really badly during my stay here which was a shame as the hotel is really nicely presented. Nothing to do with cleanliness, the place is immaculate. It was just far too hot and far too noisy.

I really liked the modern rooms, looks like the hotel was renovated recently. Everything is very clean. My mini fridge did not work though :/ Very convenient if you will be traveling by train frequently as the main train station is steps away! If your room is facing the street, it may gets a bit noisy. Extremely welcoming staff! Totally worth it for the price you pay!

Extremely Loud, no Air, prison feel
I travel 75% of the year, every year. This hotel ranks as the worst option I have ever stayed. Here is why. 1. It literally feels like a prison cell. This isn’t contemporary, it’s a cell block. See the photo. 2. There is no airflow in the rooms. They rely on you to open the window. Which, there were no bars or even a screen on my first floor room. It was so easy for some to just Everett the room. Otherwise, it was stuck at 81 degrees F. But again, no airflow either—not even a trickle. Switched rooms to be safer up higher, but same situation with airflow. So we had to open windows at night, in the absolute lowest possible area in all of Milan. 3) It is very loud outside until 2am. Forget about sleeping while they drive with their horns, play music, and while you hear every single person yelling as they leave the train station. This was just horrible for us.
