DC Birthday weekend stay
I had stayed a few times over at this hotel previously over the last 10 years being a frequent visitor to the city.It is a nice boutique hotel in a good location.Nothing much has changed apart from it looking a little dated now in certain respects. The honesty bar is still a good attraction albeit a little pricey. My only real gripe was on the morning of checking out(11am is the check out time),i had a walk out to grab a coffee and put the main luggage into the car at approx 9am.I returned to the room about 9.45am and there was a cleaner in stripping the bed and she had taken my soapbag and phone charger down to reception already!I had not checked out and i had some e mails still to do in my room so she left.Five minutes later a different member of staff walked into the room for no apparent reason then believe it or not,ten minutes later,a third member of staff simply walked in!I was not happy at all with this and it left a bit of a sour taste to be honest.

The room was a bit dated. The shower in the morning was cold & the bed was very uncomfortable. Lovely building & clean.

Nicest hotel in Leeds for me
This is a lovely quiet hotel, with characterful rooms and ambiance. I really like the fact that the room is set back from the corridor, and has a nice big desk. the home made biscuits are lovely too. The only thing they need to improve is adding real coffee.

awful
The hotel has been bought on and they are about to renovate . it is classed online as a 5 star but it is run down, dirty, and equivalent of a 3 star max . They should say online it is tired and in need of renovation and remove the 5* rating
