Starting with the positives: the staff is friendly and try to be helpful, and the location is close to city center. Now, my stay was still terrible because :1)the hotel was shown at a special promo rate for the weekend, which turned out that it’s because it’s undergoing renovation but no mention of that on the app. 2)the daily construction work starts at 7am even during the weekend. 3) what shows as free parking is not even accessible because of the renovation, so I had to pay at a nearby parking more than what I saved thru the so-called promo. I can’t say for sure if it’s the responsibility of the hotel or the app, but it was terrible, misleading and complete scam.

Basic hotel, we parked in the car park at the hotel which was difficult due to the small area and very slim parking space - had to get out of the car and leave driver in as not enough space to open doors fully and had to remove suitcases before we could drive onto parking space ramp. Slow service. We had an interconnecting room - one kettle with coffee but no milk. Each room has an empty fridge and a hob which is a little odd…. Good location as very close to restaurants and shops but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The heater was not working at all, it was very cold. A woman knocked at our door for housekeeping even though we hanged the sign do not disturb. At 5am in the morning there two drunk guys looking for their room and trying to open every door possible. I was with my wife but don’t want to imagine how scary it must be for a single travelling women… the check-in was easy and convenient (self check-in) and the room was a clear.

Gelinde gesagt: katastrophal. Das Personal war zwar sichtbar bemüht und freundlich, doch es gab so viele grundlegende Baustellen, dass man den Gesamteindruck selbst mit gutem Willen nicht mehr retten konnte. Zunächst war mein Zimmer um 15 Uhr nicht bezugsbereit – kann passieren. Problematisch wurde es, als mir etwa 1,5 Stunden später mitgeteilt wurde, dass es gar kein Einzelzimmer mehr gibt und ich stattdessen in ein größeres, freies Zimmer gelegt werde. Soweit nachvollziehbar. Dieses Zimmer hatte allerdings keinen Strom, sodass ich nach der ganzen Warterei erneut zur Rezeption musste, um um ein funktionierendes Zimmer zu bitten. Im nächsten Zimmer angekommen: endlich Strom – dafür keine funktionierende Heizung. Stattdessen stand ein kleiner, extrem lauter Heizlüfter im Raum, der auf voller Stufe lief. Das Bad war eiskalt, und nachts musste man sich entscheiden: entweder schlafen oder es warm haben. Für 92 € pro Nacht ist das schlicht eine Frechheit. Hier hätte man den Gästen in irgendeiner Form entgegenkommen müssen – Fehlanzeige. Ich gebe dem Personal ausdrücklich nicht die Schuld. Das Problem liegt ganz klar beim Inhaber, der hier auf ganzer Linie versagt hat. Offensichtlich besteht weder echtes Interesse daran, wie es den Gästen während der Maßnahmen geht, noch wurde im Vorfeld transparent über die akute Dauerbaustelle im Haus informiert. So geht man mit zahlenden Gästen nicht um. Ich übernachte gerne bei B&B aber hier war es ein Trauerspiel.
