The hotel was closed and had been for some time due to plumbing problems. I got to the hotel and read a notice on the front door that it was closed. I had not been notified in advance of the closure or that I’d been rebooked a room in a sister hotel in another part of the city. It really was a most unpleasant experience.

Cosy, easy, friendly, just go for it.
Very cosy and friendly. It is not modern, it is better, it has something historic about it. Even with fireplace in our large room. Unbeatable for the price witch was around 100 USD for 4 people.

Rooms are smelling.
Staff are not very cooperative.
Some of the guist comes out to reception wearing towl during bath due to some issue in the toilet .

Clean and convenient. Majority of staff (save one at the front) were pleasant and helpful. Aside from key swipe to get into my room never working, all was fine. And yes, the AC worked, which was crucial, given the temp was ~100 degrees F most of my visit!

Room had an extremely strong smell of chemicals upon check in, but didn’t seem like it had been that thoroughly cleaned (dust on carpet, spiderwebs, dirty walls, dirty looking bathroom). After the first night, the chemical smell was replaced by a mildew and wet carpet smell, and it was clear that the hotel has no humidity control. It was extremely moist and uncomfortable, and the smell permeated my luggage after only a 2 night stay. Beds were extremely uncomfortable.
Staff was polite, and the location was fine, but I would not stay again.
