A very quaint hotel in an upscale neighborhood Rooms are clean and well stocked with all the amenities Close to excellent restaurants and the picturesque Meredian Hill park 5 minutes walk away Hotel is on a major bus line and walking distance to many interesting neighborhoods. definitely will stay there again

Carpet was disgusting. It definitely needs to be replaced. Everything else was clean. Had to flush the toilet twice in order to flush everything out. The phrase: You get what you pay for, is true for this room. Wasn’t expecting much but still disappointed.

The location was amazing it was right along a bus line and very near everything that we wanted to do during our vacation. The main lobby was a cozy space that made you feel at home and the staff was very nice and also helpful. We will definitely come and stay again.

This quaint inn was an excellent stay in Washington DC. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was real close to the DC sights (1.3 miles straight down 16th to The White House). Bikes, metro everywhere and it all clicked to provide a fabulous dip in the huge pool of sights and sounds of the nations capital. This is a great place with wonderful people.
You’ll love this place (except lack of elevator) what do you expect!

The property is a beautiful old house. We had a suite with a fireplace, beautiful old design elements such as an arch over the window and a built-in corner unit. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning is provided by window units. Keep in mind there are no elevators, but Tmore, the guy who worked the front desk was very nice and helped me with luggage. He also went upstairs to get ice for me.

Very clean but very basic. It reminded me of staying in a hotel in Europe. There was not refrigerator and the blow dryer didn't work well. I think the mattress on the bed should be replaced as well. That said, the room was quiet, the area around the hotel was peaceful and the subway was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I will probably stay there again.

The area has some quick restuarants very close. About a five minute walk is the Dupont Circle area with lots of restuarants, entertainment and convenience stores. The hotel is older/dated with zero amenities. Beds are average at best but the area is very quiet and very safe.
