From checkin to checkout staff were very friendly and accommodating. One restaurant but as long as you have a car you're ok, as there are other restaurants nearby. Slightly dated and in need of a refresh, but still very clean. Security is around and in plain view. Coffee shop in the lobby with a small gift shop. Grocery store across the street is very convenient.

The staff were so amazing! Everyone was fun to talk to and just super nice! Was clean everywhere but two things would be helpful. One would be the roosters be removed , although pretty and nice they were alarm clocks for when you didn’t want to be up yet. The 2nd would be the spa was so noisy you couldn’t enjoy the jets. The concierge was super with helping you get your trip planned for all your excursions, and front desk staff were awesome too!

Wyndham Reef is on the very quiet East End. It’s about a 45 minute drive from Seven Mile area. We split our time 6 days on each area. The property is all time share/rental condo units. The beach is expansive and the sandy but the water has lots or rocks/coral and waves. There are 2 pools and a bar/snack area with a pretty costly restaurant we didn’t try. There is a small Fosters(grocery store) across the street. There are a few decent restaurants to try within 5-25 min drive. Big Tree BBQ was a very casual favorite. Most others are okay. Great scuba out of Ocean Frontiers! Good snorkeling at Colliers Beach. 6 days was more than long enough in this area for anyone looking to do more than relax, Sting Ray City, Crystal Caves and some scuba. Our opinion- no thanks to the timeshare pitch which promised to be 90 min and was over 2 hours. We were priced out a regular unit and yet shown a “premium unit” without telling us. Again- no thank you. Wyndham desk staff were friendly! The unit was clean. The one bedroom bathroom was small but clean !!

My friend fell on the property due to a area of sand in the parking lot that should not be there. She hit her face and head came home with a concussion and it totally ruined our vacation 2nd day there, we could not sit at the beach or in the sun becauseof this. The staff did not care about her well being but most of all when it gets dark stay in your room. There is no lighting on the walkways of the property. The staff sure struggled at the bar when paying in US dollars to convert change if paying cash often leaving us short and overcharged. The rooms are ok and you have to request them to be swept n floors cleaned wich you need due to the sand. Our Tv internet was out the whole time...all I wanted was music but could not even get youtube. The beach front is very rocky when entering the water. Dont get me wrong the island is beautiful but would not stay here again due to staff. Resorts should have music playing and laughing. Most here were very serious in their personality. Not much for hospitality. Most activities have a price at the resort Bar food was ok. Dinner food was ok too. Our elevator was broken would have to stop on every floor to get to your room. Not cool. You do share them with staff so they are aware but didn't seem a big deal to the resort. Nothing seemed to matter to them if you were happy or not. And last but not least they try to sell you their TIMESHARE. To the point they were calling my room to ask me even after I said no thank you 3 times.

Quiet East End Timeshare resort. Many older people, no entertainment . Some activities advertised like water aerobics, corn hole, yoga, bingo, but no activity staff encouraging or eliciting participation. Canceled if their quota of participants not met. Only 1 restaurant, so to offer AI is unrealistic & overly expensive at $150-200/pp. Resort not at all worth that price. Breakfast best meal-buffet expensive at $32/pp and same food each morning. Have a coffee corner with muffins & cookies but closes at 3. Small grocery store across street Ocean Frontiers onsite books great excursions. Housekeeping cleaned once in 7 days, but came promptly when called for towels & body wash

The shower curtain could not keep water up off the floor. Every shower we had there was a hazardous floor with tile and water. We mentioned it one of the times we ordered more towels. We tried several positions with the shower curtain. Everything else was fabulous. We hope to return.

First-time visitors to the Cayman, this resort stood out during our research for accommodations due to being in a secluded location away from the congested city area and the crowded 7-mile beach. The Wyndham resort offers all inclusive options that includes alcohol; we elected not to add this option since it wouldn't work for us. The resort met and exceeded our expectations; we were happy to see signs asking guests to consider an eco-friendly approach and reduce the washing of towels to what is strictly necessary. Our room was modern and in great condition, and the mattress was very comfortable. Our balcony view from the third floor was spectacular. Room options are based on your budget. The pools and hot tubs are cleaned daily; unfortunately, the wind this year (2024) has been unusually strong, which was a negative on-and-off situation. The gym was in excellent condition and we were aware of the spa services. The Wyndham Reef Resort is a wonderful option for staying. The restaurant has delicious food options, the ingredients are fresh, and the meals we ordered were extremely delicious. The bar has a fantastic and friendly staff and a large variety of drinks, cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic options and more; a drink of homemade rum made by the locals is a must! The resort offers many on-site events and excursions. The evening music and entertainment was fabulous. We will definitely return in the future. Also, there is a convenient grocery store accross the street.

Nice beach access but extremely windy! Online room advertising was misleading. Nice room but whirlpool tub didn’t work well, limited linens, poor TV options. Older resort showing its age. The restaurant was pricey for value received, cocktails were watered down. Wyndham probably assumes you are there as an owner or potential owner and tries to impress with faux representations that they are a class act time share company (which they are not). We won’t be back.

Loved bring able to wake up and go outside from our room directly to the beach! We absolutely had no issues with any of the chickens on site- my kids loved seeing them each morning actually! Loved the onsite activities and the well laid out agenda daily! Being as remote, this was an absolute plus! I know the property across the street is probably beyond your control but upon first arriving we were turned off by that area across the street where it seems things were dumped next to/to the rear of Foster’s . We have no complaints for the property itself and I would definitely return! Easy 50 minute drive to Georgetown and then back to this calm atmosphere in the evenings.
