Great hotel in central area. Only con was that our room was over the main street which was noisy due to the honking and cheering from people on buses. Not sure if this was a special festival or typical. Would definitely stay again. The breakfast is great. I would just request a room on the back side of the hotel.

The single room I was offered was very small and like the rest of the hotel very tired. Bathroom was extremely small and toilet not clean. I had to pay to be upgraded. The hotel is very conveniently located for central Copenhagen & close to transport links. The room itself was fairly basic but clean. Temperature was hard to control as there was no air conditioning or thermostat and had to be done using the two radiators in the room. Every morning I was awoken around 6am as hotel staff moved metal cages in and out of the hotel for about 20minutes. Needlessly inconsiderate. Breakfast was good.

Early check-in fee... what a dissapointment

I have stayed many times. I came a bit early, i.e. 1400 and check in starts at 1600 (which is a bit late). They told me my room was ready but I would have to pay DKK 200 to have a early check it. Big dissapointment - went out and had a beer. The hotel is fine.. but charging for early check in this is not what I would like to see hotels in general doing.

The hotel itself is very good (central, nice rooms etc) but at check-in I was ambushed with the "oh the room isnt ready yet but for a small fee you can upgrade to another room which is ready" This was also used on the two couples that were before me in line. Such an "automatic" and unattractive way of trying to upsell.

They let us check in early but charged us extra. 1st room-large roomy but OLD furniture, lights in deep massive old bathroom weren’t working so we asked to move to another room. Next room on the 5th fl was better, smaller but at least lights were working however room had stains on the heater, A/C was weak. Didn’t complain as we were exhausted and just wanted to take a shower and relax. The hallway on the 5th floor smelled awful. Not just musty but awful. They need to change the old carpet as I think that’s where the smell is embedded. Breakfast was decent. Same offerings everyday though. Gets old after staying for 4 nights.
