Huge, beautiful hotel/resort. Lots to look at and do. The rooms were just average. At $600 per night, I expected more. At the very least, I expected superior cleaning. Lipstick scribbles on the bathroom door...sorry, Gaylord, you're not the Motel 6. Do better.

The Gaylord Texan is enormous. It lacks personal service. Check in process was slow and inefficient. Rooms are dated. Bathroom too small. A totally mediocre experience.

Resort is beautiful… massive! Room was clean and comfortable … slept great! The restaurant Texan station was great and had a good selection and reasonably priced. Ol Hickory was phenomenal!!!! … didn’t experience the other restaurants since we only spent 2 nights. Room service fell flat … food took over an hour and it was barely warm and there was no microwave to reheat any of it … additionally the bacon was missing and when I inquired, they expected me to wait an additional 45 - 60+ min … won’t do that again!!! Nonetheless, I had to leave the facility to eat a hot breakfast!! Other than that I had an enjoyable time at the resort … will revisit if in the area.
