The photos of this hotel do not do it justice. We were in room 403, with a king and partial ocean view. There was a huge ocean view and a very large balcony that got full sun during the day and two lounge chairs to lay in. There was a a mini fridge, safe, VERY large Closet with a dresser inside. very modern decor with natural drift wood art and lamps, the room was 15 x 18 approximately so very large and spacious. The outdoor bar, and restaurant was the jem. You could sit on a table right on the sand, or in the thatched palm roof seating area, or sit by the long lounge chairs with a long flame. The musicians each night were very enjoyable playing music. The rooms had the large jars built in with lotion, hand soap, nice shampoo, conditioner, body gel, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. The Pampano Pier was in walking distance and had many restaurants with lots of locals.. great food too! The private beach was nice... chairs and umbrellas were included. The staff at the hotel were all really friendly. The valet was convenient, you texted ahead and it was ready. It exceeded our expectations!

Not a 300+ night hotel
This is NOT a 300+ dollar a night hotel. Parking is rediculous, there is no microwave in the room, the little refrigerator is literally about 6 inches deep so its impossible to put much into it. The restaurant has few menu choices. The beach chairs are locked up and on their sides in the mornings so watching a sunrise is difficult. There is plenty of alcohol, but smoking is very restricted. The balconies are not private at all. If others are out on their balconies, they can look right into your room. Not impressed for the price.

Great time
I really enjoy my time at this hotel, but there are few cons. The bathroom has no fans and the air conditioning could only set to a certain number and couldn’t go lower. Yes, some of the bathrooms may be outdated, but I found the bed to be comfortable and the balcony view amazing. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful beach location with exceptional grounds and pool areas, bars, restaurants and lobby but the rooms are a bit tired and outdated. They need to invest in upgrading the rooms for it to be a higher rated play to stay for me.

BEWARE: $18/day Parking + Resort Fee
This property is great if you're planning a shorter trip, but if you're planning a prolonged stay, particularly with a rental car, buyer beware -- the price of the hotel is off by roughly $75. Resort Fee: $42+ Parking Fee: $18/day (NOT A TYPO) Not only is the parking $18/day, but the parking lot is across a busy street. You have the option to valet but then you get to play the "tip every time i leave my hotel" game..which brings parking your rental car to over $25/day at times. AKA almost as much as a rental car costs. If you're used to traveling abroad, you'll be disappointed—no breakfast (restaurant on site you can pay) or gym. Really nothing to speak of at all outside the pool and bar. Staff was great. Housekeeping was terrible. At 1015pm we had hard knocks on the door and BOTH a man and female tried to enter...when we asked the next AM why they said "whoops prob had the wrong room" Sounds like they were looking for an empty room for *other* reasons. Overall, unless youre dead-set on needing to wake up to a sunrise I would save $100/night and stay somewhere inland a bit. This is the sort of place you stay for a weekend, deal with the ridiculous up charges, and get out of town.
