Not that it affected my stay but the roof needs repaired, alot of shingles off. It appears that someone just threw down some hardwood laminate flooring in the room then painted it quickly...just a terrible painting job and the wood flooring didn't give you a warm feeling being in the room. Breakfast was lacking at best. The only day we went we sat waiting on sausage patties, which were out, to be restocked for 30 minutes and didn't see anyone come and check.

The room was clean, the front desk lady was a bit rude and mentioned that they were going to cancel my room if I had not shown up right then because the card, I booked with did not go through and they were booked up that night. I was very annoyed because I booked the room and showed up before 4pm check in with the card I wanted to use to pay for the room. The hotel should not cancel a room until after 6pm. They also collect $100 deposit so beware of that. I probably would chose another hotel if I go back to this area.

The hotel itself seems a little dated. Walking in there was a very strong odor-like mold. The room was a standard room, the chair at the desk was dirty where a kid drew all the arms. The curtains had mold on them and looked dirty. The bed was somewhat comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room itself was not worth what we paid for it. Definitely my last time staying at this brand.

Our quick, overnight stay went well. Clean, quiet property and clean rooms. The morning breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles and more was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like and was unprepared for, was the required $100 deposit for possible damages. Expedia did not make it known, nor did any notification from the hotel. Now I have to wait three days for the $100 to be refunded to my account.
