A Very Caring Hotel

I fell and damaged my leg during our visit. The Hotel did everything possible to help the situation including providing a wheelchair and giving assistance whenever required. Their willingness to help at all times and by all staff was very much appreciated.

The room was fine...a bit dusty as in needing to be aired out. The location is great. It's close to movie house, restaurants and transportation--you can see buses from the window by the elevator. Staff was accommodating and check-in was a breeze.

Pros: Location is very convenient and steps away from a subway station; grocery store nearby and nice cafes; hotel has umbrellas available for guests to use; rain shower is amazing and excellent hairdryer. Cons: shower space is very small and curtain sticks to your body; toilet is very high and sometimes uncomfortable to use; mattress is hard, and we asked the concierce to get a topper but they didn't have one available; pillows weren't the best ones (small and too soft); room decoration is too dark (black and red).

Easy check in, helpful staff, very clean and tidy. Only thing I could criticise was the coffee machine which was a challenge to us, but then they all are. Good stay and I'll definitely come back again. 😀

Great, very spacious room with plenty of storage, shelving, hooks for personal effects. We also used the iron/board and hairdryer that is provided. The bathroom was large with a great, walk in, wet room type shower. The only negative was the mirror that was placed far too high as there are adults that are actually shorter than 5ft 10” or so! Our biggest criticism was the welcome upon arrival. The reception area is not inviting at all……it was too dark and too hot with the actual reception desk, I feel, far too small. The check in was slow and not very personable at all. We knew we were probably too early but we still had to wait too long amongst a crowd to be told this. Fortunately, members of our party had been able to get checked in before us and get access to their room, so we could store our luggage with them. Would we stay again? Yes definitely despite the reception area. The transport links are magnificent as the Metro is literally next door with it taking 5 mins to get to Central station in Amsterdam.

This was a great hotel in a great location that was perfect for taking the train as it is located at the end of the line. This made it easy to go other places without getting lost. My only complaint was the hotel restauraunt only served pizza... though it was good. The rooms were also a little small but super clean, comfy and modern. The staff was friendly and definitely a place I would come back to the next time i travel to Amsterdam. The hotel was also only train two stops away from the popular red light district.

Wonderful staff

My husband left a tablet in the room and we were leaving on a cruise. We were already on the ship when we received an email that the hotel staff found it. One of the staff Zoey offered to bring it to the ship and meet us. The whole staff was wonderful. She certainly went above and beyond.
