8/10 Very good

First experience staying at a hotel developed from a 184 year old mansion. Exterior is showing its age, needs maintenance and a good painting. Room was very nice. Not anywhere to hang up clothes. Breakfast in the dining room was great !

What a fantastic hotel! The staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. The complementary hors d’oeuvres were delicious and brought to us when we were sat outside in the evening. The whole hotel, the parlour, the room and the courtyard were beautiful and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious and you can choose to have it in the parlour, your room or the courtyard at a time of your choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were so accommodating and they made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Macon 😊

Wonderful place with the best staff. The breakfasts were the best we have had in any bed and breakfast. Such a classic hotel and so well maintained. The grounds are beautiful also. If you are anywhere close, you need to stay here!
