A small eclectic hotel
Hotel staff was pleasant. No elevator so kinda sucked lugging my suitcase up a few flights of stairs (was mentioned on the listing I just missed it so my fault here). Didn’t try their breakfast. Had a single room. The room was tiny but clean and comfortable. Note about the bathroom though- if you are tall or in a bigger body you may have some trouble. I’m short and my knees still hit the wall while using the toilet. And I had to squeeze slightly to get through the doorway past the sink (I’m a US size 22 for reference). My main issue was that my door didn’t properly lock. It was fine when I was inside the room and could turn the extra lock. But I was able to open it without using my key card. I didn’t notice until right before I left (only a 2 night stay). I told the front desk person when I checked out and she didn’t seem as concerned as felt she probably should have been.

Perfect for Paris
We stayed here 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is also really great. We were able to walk to a lot of the locations we wanted to see. The streets around the hotel had some nice places to eat and explore. We enjoyed and appreciated the whimsical and eclectic style of the hotel. It was cute and artistic. As some reviews have noted, the hotel room and bathroom are small, but you are in a major European city. So, it’s pretty common to have smaller rooms and bathrooms than what we are used to in the US. With that being said, we weren’t bothered by it, we know to expect this in Europe and even Asia. Also, it’s Paris! You should be out exploring as we were! We would stay here again. Also, there is no elevator, just stairs. We were perfectly fine with this. The location and cleanliness of the hotel make it a really great value for a city like Paris. If you are fussy and picky this probably isn’t the place for you. You should probably pay double for one of the major chain hotels. If you have realistic expectations you realize what a gem this hotel is! It’s a really great place to stay and great price for the location too.

Nice stay but lots of stairs
The stay was very nice since it was close to the Effie tower. It can get problematic when you have to give the card key to the front desk or having to walk up multiple stairs to your room

A picturesque little hotel with friendly staff
The first appearance when entering the lobby was misleading, it made me think of some less good place I've stayed at in the past. But the staff quickly erased such resemblance, they were very friendly and helpful. The stairs up to our room on the fourth (topmost) floor looked worn-down at first, but once ascended proved to provide a very genuine, French charm. And when entering the room it surprised us with a modern look and decoration that contrasted to the stairs. The room wasn't big, but comfortable and provided what was needed. The bed felt a bit hard at first, but turned out to be rather comfortable. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet seat a bit squeezed into the corner, making a bit tricky to use, but it was ok. The shower was very nice. Also positive with a water boiler and complimentary coffee and bottled water in the room. The only things to complain about was some minor cracks in the fascia of the room and the stairs being a bit exhausting to ascend (it doesn't seem like 4 floors should require an elevator, but something made them exhaust me). Everything else was great. Never tried the breakfast though.

Great staff, exceptional location with easy access to the metro/eiffel tower/restaurants/cafes/markets Able to leave luggage after check out to do a stroll before the train Room was small but bed was comfy and the blinds kept the room dark Water was hot in showers Location and price were the selling point. We weren’t disappointed. You always get what you pay for. We went to the eiffel tower everyday and had lunch looking at it before we left. A real treat.

Nice quaint tiny hotel
Hotel was walkable to Eiffel Tower, Starbucks, restaurants/ laundromat . Staff very helpful with directions. You leave key with front desk every time you leave. Narrow stairs ( not easy with large luggage). No elevator.

The hotel does not have an elevator and it is not stated anywhere. They take your room key when you leave the hotel which is a little concerning they could give the key to anyone. The rooms are very small and the bathroom door will not open very much because of this. There is about of 1 foot space between the bed and the walls. The location is great, easy walking to many sites and many great restaurants in the area.

I’m going to write the review I wish I had seen on Expedia prior to booking. This 2 star hotel is a notch up from a hostel. There was no elevator so you must carry your bags up a spiral staircase. The rooms were extremely small. The front door and bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way because of the bed frame. The bathroom was a newer reno but also very small and knees will touch the wall when sitting on the toilet. There were also no usb outlets for charging and if you arrive early your baggage is just left to the side of the breakfast area. That being said if you can look past that, It was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. The location was great- about 15 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower and a 2 min walk to the metro. I’m giving it an average 3 stars because I’ve never stayed in a 2 star hotel before but I assume it was average for this type of accommodation.
