Nice and convenient
The room was small but comfortable. The hotel was super cute and artsy. The only issue was the room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift. But otherwise very conveniently located. Easy to get to many tourist attractions.

This hotel has a rating on Hotels.com yet I cannot understand how it rates such a high review - maybe the location? The location should not impact the rating of a hotel. I booked the hotel based on the rating, and have stayed in Paris on multiple occasions, giving a reasonable insight into what to expect. A lower rating would be much more appropriate for this property.

Simple and cozy
Hotel Amelie is in the heart of the 7th, close to the Eiffel Tower and many sights. It's a cute neighborhood with everything you need. The breakfast is good and hotel staff knowledgeable and speak English. There are stairs and no elevator if that's a concern.

A small eclectic hotel
Hotel staff was pleasant. No elevator so kinda sucked lugging my suitcase up a few flights of stairs (was mentioned on the listing I just missed it so my fault here). Didn’t try their breakfast. Had a single room. The room was tiny but clean and comfortable. Note about the bathroom though- if you are tall or in a bigger body you may have some trouble. I’m short and my knees still hit the wall while using the toilet. And I had to squeeze slightly to get through the doorway past the sink (I’m a US size 22 for reference). My main issue was that my door didn’t properly lock. It was fine when I was inside the room and could turn the extra lock. But I was able to open it without using my key card. I didn’t notice until right before I left (only a 2 night stay). I told the front desk person when I checked out and she didn’t seem as concerned as felt she probably should have been.

Perfect for Paris
We stayed here 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is also really great. We were able to walk to a lot of the locations we wanted to see. The streets around the hotel had some nice places to eat and explore. We enjoyed and appreciated the whimsical and eclectic style of the hotel. It was cute and artistic. As some reviews have noted, the hotel room and bathroom are small, but you are in a major European city. So, it’s pretty common to have smaller rooms and bathrooms than what we are used to in the US. With that being said, we weren’t bothered by it, we know to expect this in Europe and even Asia. Also, it’s Paris! You should be out exploring as we were! We would stay here again. Also, there is no elevator, just stairs. We were perfectly fine with this. The location and cleanliness of the hotel make it a really great value for a city like Paris. If you are fussy and picky this probably isn’t the place for you. You should probably pay double for one of the major chain hotels. If you have realistic expectations you realize what a gem this hotel is! It’s a really great place to stay and great price for the location too.

Great hotel. The area around is very quiet and walkable, lots of restaurants to choose from. There’s 24hr front desk and everyone was super helpful. there’s no elevator so make sure you pack light or request a room on the first floor.
